Introduction
So I decided to finally start up a little blog thing so I have somewhere to say my thoughts. Feel free to remark on my life or whatever ends up here.
My real name is Kellie and I'm in my 30s. I was born in Utah, but when I was 5, my family moved so my dad could find a teaching job somewhere that'd pay better. He joined the military dependents school system so I've lived in Greece, Germany, Korea, and England. But unfortunately, I'm not fluent in any foreign languages; I've even forgot what I'd learned in college Spanish. I went to Ricks College in Idaho (now BYU-Idaho) for 3 years for my Associates and Southern Utah University for 3 years for my Bachelors in English Literature. And now, 7 years later, I am unemployed and living up in my parents' condo in Washington because at least it's rent-free. Besides my parents, who are now working in Germany again, I have an older and a younger sister, both married. And finally, I'm a Latter-Day Saint, or Mormon if you don't know, and can't see myself being anything else.
I joined theO about 5 or so years ago and when I can get to my younger sister's house to use her scanner, I'll throw up any fan art I've done lately; mostly I comment on other people's work that I like. My favorite anime ever is Slayers because when we moved to Korea when I was in high school, it was the first series I ever saw all the way through. It was in Korean so my sisters and I didn't know what was being said really, but we got into it. My younger sister is still a follower. So why is my handle not Slayers-related? Not sure; I think when I'd joined, someone already had Zelgadis' name so I didn't want to have to come up with something else clever. And Straight Cougar from Scryed is another favorite bishonen; he's second in line in my ranks of Crispin Freeman characters. But I'll get into that another time because sometimes when I start talking about him I can go on a while and I feel I should shut up for now.
