Earth was just sitting in her chair, looking out at the sky on the Tuesday night. She sighed and sipped her tea when all of a sudden, Jupiter came onto her balcony.
"What are you doing here?", Earth asked , a bit surprised. Jupiter laughed and hugged his best friend.
"Just came to see my girl.", he replied as he ruffled her hair. Earth blushed and laughed a bit.
"You big lug! Sit down.", Earth laughed. Jupiter sat down next to her and wrapped his arm around her.
"How are you? You alright now?", Jupiter asked with a concerned look. Earth gave him a smile and giggled.
"I'm fine!", she replied. Suddenly, Earth pointed at something bright.
"Look at that! It's..coming towards us! Maybe it's a gift from Sun!"
Jupiter then, stood up with a serious look. Earth tugged at his shoulder.
"Jupi, what's wrong?", she asked confused. Jupiter turned to look back at her and gave a sad smile.
"It's a comet. It's heading towards you. Planning to kill you and your people. It's okay though because I'll...take the comet."
Earth then shuddered in fear as she heard those words from her friend. She then, hugged Jupiter as she began to cry.
"Don't try to protect me , Jupi! I'll be fine! Don't try to protect me!", she cried. She held onto Jupiter and continued to cry.
"Earth, get back. I'll take this damn comet..for you."
"Why though?! Why for me?!", she cried. Jupiter then, turned around and kissed her on the lips without warning.
"It's because I love you. Earth, I will do anything for you, even take a comet!"
he turned back around as the comet came closer towards him. Jupiter closed his eyes, bracing himself for the comet. The comet then, crashed into Jupiter's stomach and forced him to go back several steps. Earth ran after her friend as she almost fell off her balcony into a black hole below. She grabbed onto Jupiter's hand and pulled him up as he bled excessively. Earth laid him on her lap as he was drifting off into darkness.
"Jupi, don't die! Please don't die! I love you!", she cried as she hugged Jupiter. She cried and cried onto his body as his stomach continued to bleed. Jupiter mustered his strength and put his hand on Earth's face.
"Don't..cry. Please...don't cry....Earth.", Jupiter mumbled as tears streamed down his face. She then kissed Jupiter and picked his body up.
"Help!! Help Jupiter! Please!!", she shouted.
At the hospital a few days later, Earth came to see her new lover with flowers. As she walked in the room, Jupiter smiled and patted the bed. Earth blushed and walked towards him.
"Don't you look beautiful?", Jupiter said as he looked at Earth up and down. Earth blushed and sat on the bed and gave him the flowers.
"These are ....for you!", she said as she pushed the flowers at him. Jupiter takes them and kisses Earth's cheek.
"I..love you too, Jupi.", Earth muttered. Jupiter smiled and hugged her.
"Love you too, my favorite flower.", he whispered in her ear. Earth cuddled in Jupiter's arms for the rest of the day.
