Ponyo is great. Sure, it's the ultimate proof that Disney buys human souls in bulk, but Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas are leagues more talented than their older, more mainstream siblings. It also contains Tina Fey and Liam Neeson, so that kind of star power really keeps the voice acting quality on the high end. The animation is gorgeous, just like Miyazaki's stuff always is, and it's got a nice little story going. Not Miyazaki's best, but definitely on the high end of the quality scale overall.
It occurs to me that it would be really hard to get away with anything if your mother in law was the Goddess of the Ocean.

Hay guys. I totally just lost some weight. Six letters of it, in fact. Awesome.
Also, I'll be in Seattle tomorrow, where I'll get on a plane Monday to see my new Nephew. I'll still have internet, but I might be on less, so fair warning.
If you frequent Best Buy, you'll know they have a tendency to mark down merchandise by 10 bucks or more from time to time without telling anyone. I was in Best Buy today gift shopping. Chrono Trigger DS was 20 bucks.
Needless to say I got myself a little something, too.
