Part 8: Rear Shock Replacement
Hello everyone.
So yesterday (3/15/2014) I worked on getting the front shocks replaced. Well I was able to but took way longer then expected. I was nice to my neighbor and helped him move furniture into a trailer. He daughter was moving out again so I was nice and helped.
Had a little trouble removing the top bolt since the shock cylinder would start to spin. I was able to take a wrench and hold the top of the treads while I removed the nut. But to fully remove it I had to grab hold of the cylinder to keep it my spinning.
After that I removed the tyre so I could get a better angle and more more torque to loosen the bottom bolt. Installation was relatively easy, just need a pry bar to help compress the shock to line up the bottom bolt.
So now shocks are done and just waiting on getting the equipment to lift the cab of.
