The Foreigner Experiance: Feels Like the First Time

so. i just realized that I never made a post about my Foreigner Experiance!

On Feb 2, the best thing ever may have happened to me.
thanks to a little radio station called WGLQ Radio, My choir was able to go see and be in a Foreigner concert! foreigner has been one of my favorite bands since I was just a wee otaku, and being able to see them live has always been one of my dreams. i never could have imagined being able to sing right on stage with them! I mean, wow!

here! <3

GUYS, HALP ME!

How can people be so mean? as you might know from my older posts, my choir and I have been appointed the opportunity to sing with one of my favorite bands, Foreigner. but now I am curled up in a ball, pretty much crying.

so many people have been commenting terrible things about Alpena, saying how we need to be disqualified. we did not cheat, we didn't do anything wrong. in fact, we have been very mature about this whole matter. but when Ms.Brown (choir director who we all absolutely love to death) told us "it's time to win this thing" we intended to do so.
now we are winning. *first 2 highest percentages win, we are in 2nd by...a lot.*

other schools are mad because A: we are a big school, and everybody's voting and B: they are mad because we aren't from the UP. I am so sad. why can't they just enjoy the competition like we are.

today in choir we spent the whole hour in one of the computer labs, voting away like madmen. imagine a whole choir voting on old, worn-out computers.

we listened to Foreigner on youtube and sang along loudly. it was a blast.
how do I stand up for us without sounding stuck-up...
//my cries/>

Here to vote, if you so choose.

BACKUP SINGING IS THE UP? COUNT US IN!

so my choir has been invited to participate in possibly the coolest thing ever imaginable. SINGING WITH ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE BANDS!~

FOREIGNER!
*cries*
unfortunatally, the contest is based of a vote. the 2 highest voted choirs get to participate, and sing with them in feburary. /dies a little//, but since we aren't locals in the UP *Michigan* (we are in northern michigan, about 4 hours away from the concert hall), we are having a hard time getting votes! D:
there are unlimited votes, but I would be more than delighted if you all voted once! please help us on the path to victory!

thank you so much!
link to us singin'here, my good person!
