Outsiders

*note all passages written from Trinity, Yami, and Alexandor's point of view are written by iamEssence. This is a collaboration story about our ocs from my RP 'The Other Side.' It is basically the RP but with just our ocs because we like our characters and want to use them before the RP dies out.

~Sammy~

I awoke to the sun shining in my face. It was a beautiful day...and unfortunately it was the start of school. There was a knock at my door. "Sammy, it's time to get up honey. You know we have to drive you to school. Don't want to be late do you?"

I sighed. "I'm up mom." I didn't want to go to school. Why couldn't they just home school me? As I got dresses I noticed my journel lying open on the desk.

Morning Sammy,

Are you excited to go back to school? I paced the room all night! I can't wait to start our missions again! I haven't gotten to fight anything all summer! You have no idea how boring it is being stuck in thia room all night! Finally I get to see my friends again and hopefully I get to kill something! We are so close to having all of our items! I can almost taste the sweet freedom!

Sam.

Ps. DON'T DO ANYTHING TO EMBARRASS ME AT SCHOOL!

I sighed and crumpled up the letter. "Easy for you to say...you're not the one with the scoicial problems you jerk."

When I got downstairs for breakfast dad was reading the paper. "There's my girl. How are you feeling today?" He always asked me this. He was constantly worried that switching back and forth with Sam would have side effects. "Fine dad...as always." I grabbed my ceral bowl and the box of coco pebbles.

"Sammy...we know this is hard for you...but please understand. .." I zoned out. I hate when mom is in one of her moods. She's scared of me...or rather of Sam. I learned a long time ago to just let her talk.

After the ever awkward goodbye breakfast was over it was time to head to school. I can honestly say the only thing I like about it is that I get to stay there for the school year. Also they have a pretty choice library. My goal this year is to read all of the authors from R-V. Then by my Sr. year I should have the entire library done.

Mom and dad pulled up to the school. Mom looked back at me. "Sammy...please be safe. We know Sam can be...well a wildcard. But just ask him to take it easy this year." Dad sighed. "Saki we have to let her do what's best for her. Don't forget that we live different lives than humans do." Mom stiffeled a cry. I had enough and ran out of the car. It wasn't bad enough that I am already a freak to the demon side of my family. Last thing I need is for mom to have another breakdown.

The entrance ceremony was about to start. I found a seat in the back. The headmaster took the stage.

"Welcome back students. I am pleased to see so many returning faces. This is probably the most our school has ever had. I would like it to stay this way. Which takes me to the ground rules.

All students must attend their daytime classes. That is essential. I know they are the boring human classes, but they are the ones that will help you blend into the world.

Secondly no students are permitted off campus without a supervisor. Especially at night!

All younger students must be matched with an older student as their mentor. Your partners have already been chosen. You will find a copy of the list posted by each Dorm entry.

Lastly all Elite students have their first briefing tonight. I expect you to meet in your class tonight at sundown.

That is all and again. ..Welcome to Black Manor."

I sighed. So much for easing back into things. Our first mission already. Sam is just going to love that.

When the assembly was over I headed to my Dorm. A young girl was standing there. I recognized her from last year. She was an Elite member.

"Sam?" I shook my head. "Sammy." She raised an eyebrow. "Sam is my brother..." She nodded. "Ok...well I am Trinity." I sighed and set my bag down. "You're my partner aren't you?" She nodded. Well guess it could be worse. She didn't look too young.

I remember feeling bad for my mentor. They had stuck her with me when I was 5.
We had been a good team...until she died last year. Hopefully Sam doesn't get this kid killed too.

"Well...I guess we better go unpack then." She nodded. I had a big note to leave for Sam tonight.

~Sam~

When I awoke the moon was shinning brightly, and I was back at home in school! I stretched and yawned. That was when I noticed the note from Sammy. "Don't be reckless...blah blah blah...mom was upset...blab blab bleh...new partner. ..that sounds fun. Don't get her killed she's just a kid. Well I can't be held responsible for dangers of our lifestyle." I crumpled the note and tossed it. "Ah Sammy...you worry too much. Whatever will be will be." Anyway it was time for class. Time to get a look at the new meat and time to see who had lived since last year. And hopefully we would get to go out and have a little fun tonight.
