I just realized that other than posts for the categories, I haven’t posted for this year. I kind of got off track by getting sick right before finals and then being gone for the holidays. It didn’t help that I got a secondary infection which resulted in my being tired all the time.
It wasn’t until school started up on the 12th that I started feeling more normal. At least I still got to enjoy my vacation. XD Tired or not, once I got over that flu last month, the other stuff wasn’t anywhere as frustrating.
Other than being a little tired at first, this year, so far, has gone really well. ^_^ I was startled when I ending up working on the new Otaku Angel project here at theOtaku though. It started in chat when Adam was talking about it with the people in the room.
He was talking about having someone to oversee it and review the applicants. Next thing I know people are pointing in my direction saying I should be the one to work on it. And after talking to him about it in AIM a bit… here I am. o_O
I really think it’s a nifty idea so I’m looking forward to getting it started. ^_^ I wasn’t expecting so many pm’s and comments though. That kind of surprised me a little. Never fear though. I’ve whipped out my Excel program and I’ve already made a book so I can keep track of everyone’s names as I start checking the applications. ._.
I’m pretty familiar with it since I’m a business major in college so I use the program a lot. I did make one minor change for this project. I just couldn’t resist making the default font for this book Freefrm721 Blk. >_> Don’t look at me like that Sir Allamorph. <_< Once I saw the font.... I decided to track it down because I love how it looks. XD
Anyway, time to head off to classes. ^_^
