Spiders [An MCR fanfiction]

Frank sighed, picking up the dirty clothes that were scattered throughout the My Chemical Romance tour bus. While the clothes belonged to all the members, the majority of them belonged to one specific person.

Gerard Way.

The short guitarist sighed. While cleaning wasn't his favorite thing to do, he'd gladly pick up after the man he spent so much time with. And it wasn't like anyone else was going to do it, not like he could ask anyway, since he was alone. If it wasn't for Frank, the tour bus would be full of garbage and probably other vermin like rats.

With the condition of the bus now, Frank was surprised he hadn't stumbled upon a mouse or a few ants. Aside from the scattered clothing, there were old fast food boxes in various corners, bits of food on the floor, and soda/beer cans and bottles left wherever the owner had dropped them before going to bed. Frank had to grumble a little; why couldn't his bandmates be a little neater?

Sure, Frank wasn't one to talk. Oh, the short guitarist had the moments where he just tossed a shirt onto the floor before going to bed, too tired to do anything else. He would leave a can or a food container half-empty on the counter if he didn't feel like taking care of his stuff. But it never got too bad. His bunk was the cleanest out of all of them, and out of his bandmates, Frank did the most cleaning.

The guitarist tossed the last of the laundry into the basket with a sigh. Finally... All done.. he thought to himself as he lifted the basket, which was filled with mostly Gerard's clothes. God Gee, you're so lucky you're my best friend Otherwise, I'd kill you...

Shaking his head, Frank walked the basket into the bunk room of the bus, setting the basket in an unused corner. Now it's time to clean the bathroom... The short male had to suppress a shudder. Cleaning the bathroom was always the worst part, especially after five males have been using it. No chickening out now Frankie... It needs to be done. Finally manning up, Frank opened the door to the rather dirty bathroom and began to throw things away and tidy things up. After picking up the spare rolls of toilet paper, he opened up the cabinet underneath the small sink, and let out a loud, ear-shattering scream.

~.~.~.~
Gerard, Ray, Mikey, and Bob were on their way back to the tour bus when they heard a scream that could break the sound barrier. "That sounds like Frankie," Mikey had said, but Gerard didn't focus on him. He picked up the pace, running as fast as he could until he reached the tour bus. Once he reached his destination, he took a couple deep breaths before running inside.

"Frankie?!" Gerard's worried yell ehoed throughout the seemingly empty tour bus. "Frank, where are you?" The vocalist searched every nook and cranny for the adorable guitarist, but he was nowhere to be found. "Frankie, if you can hear me, say something." Just as Gerard was about to start freaking out, a muffled sobbing was heard from the bathroom, and he quickly walked in, seeing Frank curled up on the toilet tank, head in his knees. "Frank, what's wrong?"

"K-kill it!' Frank's voice was soft and scratchy from obvious crying. The guitarist pointed a trembling finger towards the cabinet.

Gerard followed the rather shaky signal and opened the cabinet door, sighing softly. "Frank, I don't see-" The vocalist stopped speaking when he saw what Frank was talking about, and he knew exactly why Frank was reacting like he was. There was a spider in the cabinet. And not just a Daddy Long Legs or a tiny spider you'd normally see. This spider was about as big as Gerard's hand, and even though it was dark in the cabinet, you could see the piercing stare from the spider.

Looking at the spider, Gerard sighed. "I'll get it Frankie, hang on." The vocalist very carefully took one of the spider's legs, pulling the creature out of the cabinet. Swiftly, Gerard brought the spider out to the front of the bus and opened the door, letting the creature run free before heading back to the bathroom. "Frankie? Frankie, it's gone."

Frank slowly uncurled himself, though he remained perched on the toilet tank. His pale face glistened with tears, and Gerard realized just how scared Frank was. "I-It's gone?"

"Yeah. I let it outside. It's gone now, okay?" Slowly, Gerard wrapped the frightened boy in a hug.

"T-thanks Gee..." Frank wiped the tears off of his face. "I must seem like a baby to you. I'm sorry... It's just that..."

Gerard shook his head, silencing the guitarist. "That's what friends are for, Frankie. Now let's go. The others are probably wondering if you're all right."

"Okay." Frankie smiled softly and followed Gerard out of the bathroom.

"Oh, and Frankie?"

"What?"

"You scream like a girl."
