I remember always thinking
"I want to fly."
Always looking with envy
At the birds in the arms of
The Sky and riding the Winds.
Now I look at them with disgust thinking,
"What cowards."
Birds fly away from danger, pain, sadness,
.... Reality.
I am strong because I can't fly away.
I face the pains and suffering
That is all around me.
As they stay out of reach in the arms of
False Security riding on Delusions.
While I'm in the cold grip of the World
Running on the hard Road of Reality.
I see them no longer with
Admiration or Envy but,
As weak creatures always flying away
From their fears and worries.
But I fight head on,
Facing all the obstacles in my path.
