Good idea. Since there are many who would like to learn japanese this is a good thing to teach japanese because not all schools teach languages or if they do they might not teach japanese. Amazingly, i understood a lot of what you said even though i feel like i've forgotten my japanese over the summer. I'm only starting my second year of japanese, so i don't know much yet. Maybe i should watch more anime. Since you said it helps with listening, right? That's probably what i had the hardest time with although i have to say the class itself was pretty manageable. That part about the pronunciation of hamburger was funny.
I might drop in from time to time if i feel like studying up on my japanese. Watashi nihongo no namae wa Aki desu. Dozou yoroshiku. Jiyuu go sai desu. koukou ichi nensei desu. nihongo ga ski desu. Matane!

This is such a great idea. I wouldn't mind learning some Japanese. That would be really awesome. I'm really glad of this. This is going to be so greatI would like to be able to understand more of the Japanese songs I hear in the animes and also what they say in the animes. Well consider me a studentbecause I want to learn more about this language. I do know a few words in Japanese but that's it. I can't wait to learn some more Japanese. This again is a great idea
Aw, Kelsey that is very thoughtful of you^^ I would love to learn some Japanese! I only know a few words. I just know Swedish and English. My friend Keri's Grandma is Japanese and she actually moved here from Japan. She is always talking in Japanese to me but I don't realy know what she is saying. She calls me Himawari, Sunflower. XD lol.
I look forward to learning! YAY! Kelsey is going to be my teacher! *huggles*

Hey K chan! Very interesting world here! I'll definitely back it, alright? Like you I learned Japanese on my own from reading books from the library basically. It's true as my mom said though, I know more Chinese than Japanese though. But I know more Chinese and Japanese than Spanish! Pretty sad. Well then I'm looking forward to our posts and learning some new things about Nihongo.
Quite interesting idea, my son learned the Japanese he knows on his own as well. Got some books from the library and started learning. He'll say he knows more Chinese though. (What a son, Puerto Rican and speaks Chinese, and Japanese but no Spanish) He does understand Spanish though.

Great idea, I've been wanting to look for Japanese-related books but always forgot to ._. Just to have an idea, there's only one high school and one classroom in the whole city where you can learn Japanese...
And I know some nouns, I can help if you want ^_^ Even though I don't know as many as you, I'd be glad to be of some assistance if I can! And thank you for writing in romanji, I can't read kanji to save my life.
What a wonderful idea!! I look forward to your first lesson. I was playing with the idea of taking Japanese classes at my school, but I never did since it would only be an elective for me (and I had maxed out on electives already). I would like to know how to properly pronounce Japanese words, even if I don't know what the words mean (for now...).
