O’ milady sweet and tender,
The world is harsh for both of us,
We can never ever be together,
That we are bound with grudge’s crust,
But, milady shall not be worry,
Cause your summer knight is here and ready,
Our love may be forbidden by blood,
But by heart I vow to protect,
Forever and always.
“Poem by Summer Knight Fredrick,” I recited as I hugged the book and continued imaging his sturdy properties that made me blush. Actually I was kind of envy of Lilianna who had that kind of lover but then, I was just a ‘nobody’ to even start up with.
“Wow, you actually read that kind of book?” A voice rushed into my ears that made me jolt out of my bed in alert.
“Kn… Knock the door before entering a maiden’s room!” I shrieked.
“What’s wrong with that? The other crew didn’t bother me doing that and besides, this is my ship,” He frowned a bit.
“Your ship or not it is extremely rude to just barge in inside a maiden’s room without her permission and especially eaves-dropping what she’s reading,” I answered furiously.
“What a worrywart. You don’t even resemble a maiden at all. Look at what you’re wearing. Does a girl wear trousers?”
“In-case you’re plotting any harassment,” I answered.
“Yuck…” He then fled.
I halted like a statue for a while. What did he mean by ‘yuck’ and that’s very rude of him to even say that. If only I could punch him or pull his eye-balls out of his eyes. I was very angry for that offensive statement.
“Miss, enjoying your first sailing I presume?” Rio greeted me with a smiling face.
“Not really. ‘Something’ had just getting on my nerves so I’m not quite happy right now,” I replied in a shallow tone.
“Capt’n made you angry?” He asked that was really hitting the jackpot.
I nodded hastily and my expression kind of agreed with his statement.
“You see, he’s the discriminate type. He prefers men over women but it’s not that he’s gay. He’s kind of… How can I put it in words…? Anyhow, he’s not really comfortable being around a women,” He explained.
“Okay, I can see that. But, can’t he be a bit gentler with his words? How sharp-tongued can he be?” I asked.
“How sharp-tongued I can be has nothing to do with your work here. It’s almost lunch time and I suppose you’ve already prepared something for us have you, my lady?” Captain Kenny’s voice was heard from my back that made me startled.
“I’m done with the preparations and now is waiting for a ‘certain person’ to attend the dining room since without him, no one can grab a bite,” I replied sadistically.
“I see. Let’s go then,” He moved towards the dining room.
All the crew were seen on the dining room, the doctor in charge, the navigator, the one to repair the ship and so on. Everyone was staring at me like I was an outsider and of course, I was the only female there and I was still new. One of the crew which his hair was blond stood up and said, “Capt’n, it’s not fair for her to not being introduced as one of our members in this crew.”
Another crew who had ear piercings stood up to support the earlier crew’s statement, “Yeah, Capt’n. Can’t you just introduce her to us?”
He gave me a slight stare for a moment and continued consuming his meals without bothering for any more words. I was a bit agitated with his act of behaviours. Somehow I became weary of his words and such which I’d say I could never tolerate with it. Later, he abruptly stood up and said, “It’s better if she introduce herself upon every of us in this dining hall where every single crew is here to hear.”
Everyone’s attention turned to me. I stood up and said, “Hi, I’m Eleanor, just Eleanor. Is there anything that you want to know about me?”
“What about your family’s name?” Rio suddenly asked.
“Well, I… don’t remember any of it. Mammy took me in when I was still small to even remember. In my birth place, there was this unknown virus infecting every single peasants and I was left as the only survivor. The only thing I could remember about myself is my age, the day of my birth and my front name,” I explained briefly.
“Poor thing. Well then, I’m Thomas and how old are you?” The blond pirate uttered.
“I’m eighteen and five days,” I answered politely.
“Well, hi Eleanor, I’m Fredrick. Umm… A question won’t hurt isn’t it?” Hearing the name Fredrick made the hair behind my neck stand since it reminds me of the Summer Knight.
“Anything. Go on…” I answered.
“Have you any pair?” He bluntly asked.
The bold questions lighten up the atmosphere that all of the crew was having their full attention towards me and Captain Kenny seemed to be bothered by the question but still acting cool about it. I almost chocked myself but then I had to be brave to face such question.
“Well, no. I don’t have any,” I answered again.
The whole room was quite noisy with the answer, somehow, they were rejoicing over the matter that I was still available for any of them to check in. Captain Kenny had enough, so he stood up and left the dining hall at his own pace and headed up towards his room. His expression looked a bit in fatigue that he might have been suffered from insomnia I presumed since only those of the insomnia would have the same expression. Anxious of his state of health I quickly finished my works in the kitchen and brewed some herb tea for him. I was finally in front of his door and one thing left was to knock the door.
“Who is it?” A voice replied my knocks.
“I brought you some herb tea. If you don’t mind,” I retorted.
“Get lost. I don’t need any tea now and just so you know that I’m a busy person,” He replied furiously.
“Well, I thought that you must be tired since your expression doesn’t look promising to me. You better have a rest or you might get sick,” I tried to convince him.
“All right then, just enter and leave the tea on the table behind me and leave me in peace,” He finally gave his permission.
I entered his room and was quite astound to see it was very messy. I was frozen stiff to see that a person could ever live in such room.
“If you don’t mind, let me clean your room too. I can’t believe that you could survive living in this… room,” I muttered.
“Do whatever you like but don’t disturb me,” He who was still on his desk, writing something that I presumed a journal.
So here I was, making sure my captain’s room to be spick and span or should I say, not to look like those of the rats, cleaning was what appropriate to be done. His clothes were everywhere, scattered like pieces of papers being thorn up, engulfing the whole floor until not even an inch of the floor were exposed. The room was pitch-black due to the closed curtains that made the room look rather gloomy. And to my surprise, had he even concerned of his state of health and so on? I knew that there’s a doctor on board but to be careless about your very own state of health was just too far and exaggerating. Who did he think he is? A God? There’s no way he wouldn’t catch any illness in such state, ignoring what was best for his body.
“Umm, if you need anything, just tell me. My service is still available,” I uttered.
“The only service you are to serve me is to go out and leave me in peace,” His murmured sadistically.
“Well, ‘captain’... If you think you are so good then you’re wrong. Why do you have to act so high and mighty as if you’re far greater than the God himself? Can’t you just be nice to others when they’re being nice to you?” I burst up my anger straight to his face.
He did look quite astonished with my dictions.
“You should be grateful that if it wasn’t for me, the whole town might be migrating for now when the government wanted to turn your fishing village into one bloody factory!” He replied my anger with his own in a very high tone.
“Why do you have to even bother saving the villagers when you are a pirate and you have nothing to do with the village? Even if you were born there then that means that it’s your responsibility to protect your own birth place.”
“My responsibility? I protected the village just because the whole villagers were begging me to do so!” He threw off the words on my face.
“Fine, I’ve had enough!” I went out and slammed his door as hard as I could.
“Ha-ha, you sure are a tough one, my lady,” Fredrick’s voice was heard nearby.
“Fre… Fredrick!” I retorted half-shocked.
“Did I startle you?” Fredrick calmly stated.
“Well, I’m lying if I say no,” I replied.
I came to notice that I was a bit embarrassed that I could meet Fredrick whose character was completely the same as the virtual Fredrick and the exact opposite of that bloody ear irritator. He gestured his hand and scratched his head with his right hand while saying, “You’re free right now right?” I replied his question with a single nod as a reply. Later then he let out a shy grin. I was blushing a bit and my heart was throbbing like it was trying to explode.
“You see, what colour is very common around women?” He asked.
I paused for a while and gave a slight thought of it. Finally, my tongue let out an answer, “Well, a colour that is commonly among women is pink but, if you ask me, I’d say blue.”
“Ah, I see. Mind telling the reason?” He gave his gentle smile.
I could hear my heart pounding heavily that I myself could hear it thumping, “Well...” I paused, inhaling for some air while thinking for a reason for my last statement. “Blue looks so cold and mild and it can be bold sometimes. It shows a calm character and the unity of people around it. The sky, do you find the sky’s ugly?”
“No. I can’t see any flaw of that sky,” He answered confidently.
“Yes, because it does not have any flaw. What do you feel of the sea?” I asked.
“Calm and can be vigorous sometimes. Very gentle yet very bold, just like you,” He turned his gaze towards me.
My head was gazing towards the woody ship deck, not looking towards Fredrick who’s looking at me with that strange gaze of his. I stood up abruptly and had my excuse to flee. I could sense him giggling for my unexpected dismissal but anyhow, I felt so alive to know that I had a person
who I could love on this deck. I wonder what will happen next and was very excited about it.
O’ my summer knight,
Me summon thee for eternity,
For those who worship love,
But unrequited,
Ye, O’ my dark Lord shan’t see,
The knightly armour bends to me,
Passionately guarding thing which ought to be,
Mine and forever,
Unrequited love or never,
Hath to be mine and always,
Let it be O’ my summer knight.
“Poems by Lilianna, the unrequited love,” I recited in my chamber, passionately holding the book of a poetic love story which every chapter had a poem.
“Eleanor, what on earth are you doing? Get off with you and go get the laundry done!” Mammy leapt out of nowhere and made me jolt in alert.
“I’m on my way, Mammy,” I answered timidly as I had my way out of my room leaving the most wonderful book in the whole world would ever have.
“Read’in zat book o’cha, aint’cha? What iz’it zat zat book have than ya own life’ta even bother bout?” That’s Renka, with his crappy way of pronunciations that made English sound bad from what it was.
“Well, you would never even bother to know and experience the passionate and overwhelming romance of a love story,” I explained briefly at the same time, made my way towards the balcony.
“Y’know what, I ain’t a kid no more and in fact, there’s no way a so-called Prince o’ ya will come. Look at’cha own figure. How shabby,” He pouted. “Don’cha worry bout zat! Ye can land’cha head on my shoulder.”
“Whatever. Yes, I know I’m in an awful condition. Why can I not fall in love with just anyone?” I mocked.
“Nah, it’s not zat you can’t do so. Juz in case you’ll get hurt, I’ll play my role as yer brotha. So sorry zat I’m not an English, so, I might be a crappy tongued brotha ta ya, ain’t I right?” He gave out his childish grin as always that made my heart calmed for quite a bit.
“Well then, it is time for me to bid my farewell for now. I’m doing laundry.”
I paced away as I went towards the balcony for my daily chores. I was an orphan who was brought up by Mammy under her mercy which she and her whole family was a gipsy. My mother and father died due to an unknown virus that spread through the winds which came from the west. I was the only survivor by the time their caravan reached my birth place. Well, in the age of pirates and such, courage, wits and bravery were needed to protect ourselves from being captured and what’s worse, a slave of the all hail villains’ crew.
I was lost wandering at my own pace which my head was elsewhere whilst my body stood doing its job, hanging the laundry. My head was wondering what kind of love story I would experience in the future. I did not wish for some ordinary and boring love story nor do I wish for an extravagant one such as being saved from a tall tower or being kidnapped and being saved by a hero. I just wished for a proper love story just like what Lilianna and the summer knight had had in the story. I knew that Lilianna’s love was unrequited, but, the reason was that the summer knight thought that she was his bloodline sister. The dark lord or should I say her father already thought of him as his own son so, he made up all the story regarding to their mother and such but the truth was that Lilianna’s brother died right after being laboured. The summer knight grieved over the fact and restrained himself from loving Lilianna. What a romantic love story.
“Wow, I didn’t know a person could be so deaf when she’s day-dreaming,” A masculine voice was heard from the ground which there stood a lad wearing such a fine outfit.
“Pardon me, sir. On what occasion do you have here to even interrupt my job here not to mention that so-so manner?” I was greatly upset with his dictions to come out with such rude words.
“Better stop that day-dreaming of yours or Mammy will fire you,” He replied.
“Fire me? On what reason would she fire me?” I mocked a bit sarcastically.
“Oh, so you might be her slave or so?” He made up a new obnoxious statement that almost made me burst.
“Nah, she ain’t a slave nor Mammy’s servant. She’s ma lil’ sis but we ain’t related by blood. Anyhow it’s kinda rare ta see ya being here for business with Mammy. Why don’cha come in and zat girl up’ere serve ya some tea while wait’in fo Mammy’s return. That’ll kill some time,” Renka came out and greeted him as Mammy’s clients.
“No way am I serving that ill-mannered lad. I have no tendency in doing so,” I declined his order just in instance.
“I don’t mind’cha doing zat but Mammy won’t be happy ta hear yer answer. I wonder ya might not be able to attend dinner tonight. Serve ‘im or no dinner fo’ya,” He explained.
“Well then, you just have to wait until I finish my business here. You don’t mind about it right?” I gave a fake smile to cease the tension casted on me.
“Eh, I’m not really that patient so I doubt it,” Before he could finish his line, I cut his words by retorting, “Fine I’ll finish it right away and can you please enjoy yourself for a moment.”
“That’s more like it,” He let out a smirk and left the front door in an irritating manner.
I quickly finished my laundry in a split second and rushed downstairs to serve him some tea or maybe a few mustard muffins that I had just made that morning. He, who was waiting nearby gave his look of displeased while gazing towards my rushing figure which quickly diminished out of the horizon heading towards the kitchen. The tea’s ready and now the muffins. Where did they go I wondered? Tinkle was swaying her tail to and fro, watching excitedly towards my busy stature that’s moving here and there and as I reached where Renka and that rude-man were, I caught my breath and served them tea just in time.
“Not bad for a foster,” He finally uttered.
“Well, she’s da best sister I’ve ever had. What brings ya here?” Renka finally started his speech.
“Well, I don’t mind being in short of people but now, I need to find a cook. See, my cook resigned two days ago due to the last fights so, I need Mammy to find an excellent cook or my crew will die a dreadful death due to starvation,” He explained briefly.
“Well, it’s not zat she doesn’t want ta find’cha a crew especially a cook but em… Ya see, everyone knows yer crew and they’re afraid of ya so it’s hard’ta find one,” He paused. “If only ye’re willing ta vow ta take good care of da cook, we might as well find one.”
“Well, please be quick then. Either male or female is fine by me since we have not much time and we are to set sail as soon as possible,” He begged and took a sip of the tea.
“I can’t say no ta a customer of Mammy so I’ll juz have’ta work my back off and find’cha a pleasant cook for the sake of yer crew. It’s the least I can do after what you’ve done ta the village,” Renka made his statement.
“I’m counting on you, Renka. I’ll hold my sail till tomorrow afternoon and be sure to answer me before then so that I can make my smooth sail for the next port.”
“Yes, sir. So long fer now,” He gestured a wave and went back in to where I was.
How heart-breaking to see my handmade mustard muffins were left just like that and untouched plus, he only took a sip of the tea when I worked so hard in preparing them and I even rushed my legs off to do so. It’s just so unfair. Renka who noticed my unhappy scowl just chuckled beside me and said nothing. He nodded his head as he left the house with only me alone to search for the requested cook. Moments later, Mammy arrived safely home with Pappy by her side.
“What a cold day. Eleanor, where’s Renka?” She questioned.
“He went off to find a cook for your customer. He said that his cook resigned two days ago due to a fight and desperately in need of a cook for the crew before tomorrow afternoon,” I explained.
“I see. We’ll just have to wait until he returns home by then. Now, help me prepare some dinner for tonight,” Mammy’s orders were absolute so I had to obey her.
After dinner, Renka finally arrived home. His expression didn’t look quite promising for a positive reply and without him even telling, Mammy already knew the situation. She let out a heavy sigh and turned to me. For a while, she would shook her head but for a while, she would let her grunts controlled the silent atmosphere. Somewhere nearby, Tinkle purred at me and would sway her tail in anxiety that she really understood the current situation.
“Well, we can’t upset him for what he had done for our village’s sake. If it’s not for him, the government might swipe off our people who mostly are fishermen,” She paused. “That leaves us no choice.”
“Are ya sure bout this, Mammy? She’s a girl and zat crew… Well, she’s one o’ us right?” Renka tried to stop her.
“I’m sorry darling. Sometimes, for the sake of others, we need to give up on one even though how hard it takes,” Mammy with her refine statement.
“Very well ‘en… But’cha must not regret zat decision of yours, Mammy,” Renka left the scene and left both of us in private.
“Mammy?” I uttered.
“Get your things packed. You are to join the crew and be their cook. You are forbid to decline my request for what he had done to our village,” She stated with a stern look on her face.
I, who was almost crying which to my most dreadful fate to be apart with this family after years of being under their care for such trivial incidents for the sake of that delinquent lad who’s very rude to me. But, to see her being so serious about this matter, I couldn’t decline her will. I nodded and paced weakly towards my chamber and packed my personal belongings as tears poured down from my cheeks. I wiped them out but they just kept on falling. The door of my room was knocked and the stature of two men who were standing still watching earnestly towards me.
“Eleanor, a second probably,” Pappy called for me.
“Yes, Pappy?” I walked towards him.
He took out a dagger which on the end of it, a brilliant ruby shone beautifully, “If anything were to happen, please use this to protect you. Consider it as a lucky charm.”
“Aww, Pappy. You don’t have to. It’s your most important treasure,” I took the dagger from his hold.
“You are the only daughter I have. Related by blood or not, you will always be my daughter,” He held my cheek and shove away my tears.
“Hey, I mightn’t be by yer side so uh… Here, take diz. I made it myself since ya love’ta read dat book o’ ya,” He took out a book marker that was beautifully made from dried leaf.
I hugged both of them and said, “I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done. I’ll treasure them as my property from now on.”
And so, I was left to have my slumber for the night. I rubbed my pillow and thought of a word, “This is my last night to sleep with you.” And I even gazed towards the whole room, “Goodbye. Thank you for letting me in since I was a little girl. Now that this is a farewell for both of us, I just don’t know what to say other than thank you. Saying a ‘goodbye’ is quite hurtful and piercing.” Lastly, I fell into a deep sleep.
An hour before afternoon, I bid my farewell towards them and had my way towards the so called crews of that lad. I was somewhere near the jetty and there were so many ships that I had some difficulties in finding the lad’s ship. Renka said that the ship was what the other ship would never look like. Only certain ships would have that image so, I searched for a ship which was extraordinarily odd.
“Hey, aren’t you Mammy’s foster daughter?” A well-known voice struck my ears.
“Yes, I am,” I answered a short reply.
“So, where’s the cook then?” He took out his right hand and gestured to find the cook.
“Actually, I am,” I explained.
It went for a long pause and finally, he uttered, “You?”
I nodded and said, “Yes, I am.”
“Humph, can you really cook?” He mocked.
“Another words and I’ll quit,” I couldn’t believe that I was actually threatening him.
“Okay then, welcome aboard then,” He sarcastically bowed and showed me the way.
We finally arrived to his enormous ship and that ship was extraordinarily odd. Why sailors would have a mermaid carved on their front ship? I gaped towards the lad and he gave that stupid look of his towards me.
“Set sail! We’re sailing directly towards East!” He gave out orders.
“Capt’n, have you find our cook?” One of the crew bluntly asked.
“Captain?” I retorted unbelievably.
“Well, yes. I’m the Captain of the ship named Kenneth Rogers. Oh, and Rio, show our cook her room and be warned not to lay a single finger on her or else a murder will occur in just a blink of an eye,” He ordered.
“Aye, aye, sir!” Rio saluted towards him.
“Come on, Miss. You don’t want to be lost in this ship, don’t you?” He took my bags and my cases heading towards my room.
“What is this ship? What kind of voyage are we having?” I asked.
“Nah, we aren’t going anywhere. Just random instinct,” He explained.
“Random? You mean like being a traveller or you’re just a random sailor or probably a merchant.”
“We’re none any of that. We’re pirates,” He said it with a straight face.
“Seriously, your joke is not funny,” I replied.
“No seriously, we are,” He assured.
“What?” I screamed.
I went out of my room and was heading towards that so called Captain Kenny who was now standing for a lookout from a distance beside a navigator. I glared at him with a dark aura emitted from my body while he ignored my presence completely.
“Why didn’t you tell me that this is a pirate ship?” I yelled.
“Who me?” He took out his fore-finger and pointed towards himself with a monotonous look on his face.
“Yes, you of course! Why didn’t you tell me before we set sail?” I asked boldly.
“I thought you had already noticed it with that mermaid carving and the black flag up there,” He nonchalantly pointed towards a pirate flag that was hung up perfectly.
“Stop kidding me! Send me home right away. I am not continuing this voyage! Please let me off,” I begged.
“I’m sorry but we’re already far from the coast. There’s no way you can get off. I doubt you could ever swim, my lady,” He explained briefly.
“No, this isn’t happening!” I ran towards the hind deck and the jetty was nowhere to be found.
I sat in dismay while looking helplessly towards the left-behind sea with a slight frown on my face. One of the crew laid his right hand on my shoulder to console me and said, “We meant no harm over you. We’re really desperately in need of a cook since none of us know how to cook. Please don’t leave. If you promise to stay, I promise I’ll protect you.”
“Me too,” Another crew raised his voice.
“Count me in,” A crew that was wearing a bandanna raised his hand.
“Your answer, my lady?” He asked.
“If that’s the case, I’ll stay,” I replied hastily.
The whole crew gave out applause and cheered for my answer. Captain Kenny slightly grinned for his crew since he had long waited for a new cook for the replacement of the old one who had just resigned three days ago. I doubted that I would ever enjoy this voyage but then, had I even a choice? No.
I only finished Drawing Hans. I'll draw Natalya later~ Xp

I was praying for his arrival and his safety. I didn't want to get married to whom I was not in love with and plus, never once had I expected to marry him, the Dracula. Oh, please hurry and save me Hans. I prayed and prayed. The time was getting nearer and nearer to its deadline and I couldn't sleep for days that I couldn't let go of the thought of what would happen if he couldn't save me. One day left and the bride of the Dracula should I be that I assumed myself I was the most unhappy bride ever lived.
And finally, the date of our matrimony had arrived. I couldn't help myself from being trembled and cried non-stop that I couldn't believe myself of what I was doing. Soon, the organ started to play its song that usually united a loving couple but unfortunately, it only brought grief and despair for me. The preacher finally said, "You, Sir Count, are bound with love with this lovely maiden, now and then, will you vow for your faith and protection over your bride. Will you, Sir Count Dracula, take this girl as your bride?"
He confidentially answered, "Yes, I do."
And now, he was turning towards me who was still trembling, hesitating that If I dare to say no, I'd put myself in the dead-list but, what choices did I have?
"Lady Natalya Ashley, are bound with love with this man, now and then, will you vow for your faith for this man as your rightful husband. Will you, Lady Natalya Ashley, take this man as you husband?" He uttered.
I couldn't help myself from crying and calling for another man's name that made everyone astounded, "Hans! Where are you?!" I sobbed.
Suddenly, a loud crash and seven figures were seen standing at the doorway while Hans shouted, "I'm here! I hereby challenge you who took my lady away from me for a battle!"
"You dare to interrupt my wedding ceremony, shall face the wrath of mine!" All vampires were dashing towards the statures.
"Leave those lowly vampires to us," Luca persuaded.
"Go save your princess you so called prince-in-white-horse," Ruth mocked.
"Whatever!" Hans said while blushing.
The Dracula grabbed my shoulder and took me flying away from the scene. I tried to free myself and shouted for his name over and over again. He chased after us and finally, we arrived at a secluded place where it was appropriate for them to hold for a fight.
"We'll settle this once and for all," He let go of me and finally transformed into a demonic form.
I got too shocked that I retreated a few paces away from him with tears rushing down my cheeks. I was very worried about what would happen next.
"Yes, let's finish this once and for all. You, the one who made my girl cry, I will not forgive you!" Hans shouted.
"Hmphh, what's this? Is this what they called love? Bullshit!" He sneered.
Hans took out his silver death-scythe and attacked him. Swinging to and fro, fists to claws, smacked and smacked. Both of them were even now. It was the first time for me to see Hans being wounded and the Dracula too was wounded. I was too terrified to look but I had to see it since that I was the only one who was there who witnessed the fighting scene. They fought again and this time, fiercer than the last one. And finally, both of them was knocked out. I rushed towards Hans and revived him.
"Please wake up, Hans. I don't want you to die," I pleaded as my teardrop fell on his cheek.
Soon, he regained his consciousness, "I won't die that easily before I could make you mine."
I was so happy that I hugged him tightly that I burst into tears of happiness. Hans stood up and walked towards the Dracula and said, "Never dare try to get near my girl. Even if she's not a pure-blood, I will always there for her. bear that it mind." He pointed his scythe towards him and finally left the incident place with me. All six of them seemed to be exhausted due to the fight with all those vampires.
"Let's go home now. Even if you're a nobody, I'll be there for you. I'm sorry for not noticing my feeling for you," He apologized.
"I'll forgive you if you take me as a bride," I replied with my face flushed.
All six of them was like, "WHAT?!". And after everyone was healed, a holy matrimony was held and this time, with the one I love. We vowed for our eternal love and promised not to get on each others' nerve. Well, I hope so.
The end.
After we walked quite far away from the house, I abruptly stopped. I stared backwards and asked, "Can I bring my Bat since he's here?"
"Is he one of your possession?" The were-wolf asked.
I nodded and he finally replied, "Yes. If he's one of your possession, you may have him with you along the way to Vampire Land."
I was glad for the answer. I didn't really get the idea of why did the Dracula wanted me back since he's the one who banished me from our homeland and yet, asking me to return there. But, for my curiosity, I swallowed my fear and obediently followed his order because I knew that nothing good would come if I decline his order. Finally, after walking for quite a long time since I didn't know how to teleport myself, we finally arrived at Vampire Land where I was presented upon his almighty Dracula himself.
"What is it that you have come to summon me, Dominion?" I knelt before him, showing him some honor.
"After a long time, I finally realized that I was wrong for banishing you from Vampire Land. You have that exaggerating sensation of blood that almost all vampire has ever desired especially those of the vampire hunters," He played his riddle once again and this time, I understand it very well what was he meant by it.
"My, I'm honored that his great one keep his eyes on me all these times," I replied.
"My, my... That isn't what I was talking about. You, who possessed that blood of the Pure-blood is what I've been searching for. It's such a great loss to have almost all the Ashley family annihilated, my greatest regret. But now, I will make amend and we shall start a new life. I'll take you as my bride, my lady and be sure to be prepared a week from now," He gave one of his smile that made my hair behind my neck stand.
For my greatest horror, I was overwhelmed with fright that I couldn't react or even utter a single word, not upon him nor any other vampires who walked passed me with those look of jealousy and hatred for I was to be announced as his great one's Bride, the ruler of Vampire Land, the great Dracula. I was too shocked to cry that Bat had no idea what to do. Finally, I gave up my mind.
"Bat, I need you to do me a favor. Go and find Hans and tell him what has happened and return with a banquet of flowers," I whispered.
"I will, but, what is with that banquet of flower anyway?" He asked.
"I can't explain it now for that the wall might be eaves-dropping."
And so, he finally blasted-off to get Hans to save me from being the Dracula's bride. Being a bride of a Dracula had been a dream of all female vampires and I was included once back then but now, I came to realize that my heart held no longer of that dream since I already knew what my heart desired most. Suddenly, the door flung right open and the stature of my two female cousins that were Cyano's sisters stood still upon me.
"Lyra, what is she trying to do? Ordering a Bat to do something that supposedly be done by us that is by 'a certain reason' that we should obey?" Lana mocked.
"I'm not sure. But, that murderer that killed our precious Brother," Lyra gave me one of her disgusted look.
"I... I asked him to pick up some flowers. That's all," Deep in my heart, I hope that Bat was doing fine.
At the same time, Bat who had strongly flew all the way to fulfill his task finally arrived towards the vampire hunters' manor. He quickly grabbed Hans sleeve and shouted, " You must save Lady Natalya!"
Hans turned towards him in alert, "Hey, slow down, what's going on? Where's she? What happened?"
All the hunters had their ears on without Hans noticing and even their mother was strongly occupied with the conversation too.
"Miss Natalya is forced to be the Dracula's bride since she has that blood of the Pure-blood. A Pure-blood is rare to be found and he is looking forward for a new breed! And, she has a week approximately before the matrimony took place!" He explained briefly.
Hans balled his hands into fists and exclaimed fiercely, "Take me to where she is."
Suddenly, all six hunters including mom blocked his path from pursuing his way from continuing his journey. Hans frowned and asked furiously, "What are you doing?! Move aside!"
"No can do big bro," Luce uttered.
"You can't deal with all the vampires even if you are strong. You are out-numbered. Your strength is only only enough to eliminate the Dracula," Luca continued.
"So, we think you may need some company," all three Charle, Lyle and Kyle said in chorus.
"So, wanna kick their asses out?" Ruth grinned.
"I'll be rooting for you. Please bring back my daughter (In-law) okay," She smiled.
"Everyone..." Hans was astounded by all of their willingness to help him.
"Don't get the wrong idea big bro, we're doing this for the sake of her cuteness. It'll be a pain to have such cutey pie to be someone else's bride," Ruth smirked.
"Whatever, lets get going!"
Off they went with Bat leading the way all through vampire land just to save me who was to be the Dracula's bride. Will they make it in time? Who knows. Only those who were related to vampire land could traverse there in a short time but those who weren't would have to travel a longer journey.
To be continued.
