That morning, we didn't even utter a word since that I got so angry that I avoided myself from getting near him or even tried to talk to him. I wasn't sure of what he was feeling about it but as far as I know, as if he cared about that! His words, his sneer, his mocking and sarcastic attitude, how could I not be angry?
After I went to sleep, I woke up feeling a bit refreshed. I went to a nearby mirror to check whether if he bit me or not. I shifted my collar, trying to search for any bite-mark but couldn't find any. I got so curious that I went on searching for him without having a slight thought of 'what would he do this time?'.
"Hans, where are you?" No reply was heard. I paced towards the couch and found him sleeping on it with both of his eyes were shut, he was in deep sleep. I examined his face and he looked kind of... Defendless. I didn't know how long I was staring towards him until finally twilight took place and he slowly shifted his eyes, staring at me. I jerked backwards and was blushing endlessly.
He was staring at me with that sleepy look on his face, "What time is it now? and why are you staring at me like that?"
I was still blushing, halted like a statue. He shoved away his gray hair away from his forehead, covering his eyes with his right hand and stayed in that posture for quite a while.
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm fine. It's just that, I'm tired since I haven't drink any blood for quite a while... I guess my energy drained out," He let out a heavy sigh.
I turned my back towards him and shifted my collar to offer him my blood, "Here."
"After what I had said to you?" He asked, quite in a shocking manner.
"It's okay. To see you in this shape is the worse. I'll forgive you. Bat's still asleep and please hurry," I insisted.
Without a further warning, he sunk his fangs into my neck and sucked my blood until he satisfied. I did let out a low moan since it was kind of hurt. Suddenly, he stopped and released me. I tried to turn back but he stared away, saying, "Don't look at me." I could see that he was blushing.
"Why did you stop? Was it because I moaned? Sorry, I didn't mean too..."
He cut my words, "It can't be helped since that it's kind of hurt."
Silence took place for quite a while until I finally said, "Well, I don't mind if you want to suck my blood when I was asleep. But, make sure that I get enough blood later." I smiled towards him.
He nodded as an agreement and wiped his mouth with his right hand, still blushing. Bat who was finally awaken was flying towards me with the usual smile on his face, "Mistress! Morning!" I hugged him back and replied him with the same thing. He noticed that Hans was still blushing and asked, "Did I missed anything special?"
"Nope. Everything is just normal," I answered.
Hans face went redder than usual as he stood up and said, "I need to wash. Be right back."
I smiled and okay-ed his statement.

I got so angry of his words that insulted me of what I had never wished for. I had never wished to be a vampire from the very beginning and I got very frustrated when he said those words when I didn't even want it myself. Suddenly, a very mesmerizing woman went nearer to men and whispered, "Men are sucks. They think they're stronger than us that they can do whatever they like towards us. Those powers of theirs should be used to protect us but, they use it wrongly. In the end, we are the victims. Don't you want to fight back?"
I nodded, "But, he's way too strong that it's impossible for me to even lay a finger on him."
"Well, I can help you from that. I know that you are a vampire. I'll be helping you out," She approached me and went straight into my body as if she's a ghost. But, what I knew was that I was possessed by her.
A familiar voice abruptly reached my ears, calling for me but I couldn't control myself from being me.
"Oi, Food-supply, If you're not answering then I'll just barge in," Then, the door flung and hit the wall hard. "What the hell were you doing?! I was calling for you for like million times."
"You disgust me," The word slipped from my mouth without my desire.
"Oh, yeah... Whatever. I know that you have that amount of grudge on me but I think it is time for you to have your rest," He persuaded me. "I'll drink your blood when you're ready."
"You shouldn't be doing that Vampire Hunter!" I attacked him with my claws as he received a slight cut at his cheek.
"You're no Food-supply... Who are you?" He replied.
Bat who was flying nearby frowned as he saw what happened. He went straight towards me but Hans knocked him hard and made him fell on the ground.
"What did you do that for?" He asked.
"She's not your Natalya..." He uttered.
"Oh, you've quite an eye," I said with a smirk. No, it wasn't me... It was the lady that possessed me!
"It's very obvious. She's too dumb to even lay a scratch on my face," He said confidentially.
Deep in my heart, I monologued, "I remember that for the rest of my life you Bad-mouthed Kiddo!"
"Oh, I see. But that's not the reason for you to treat her like that. Do you think I didn't see what you were trying to do inside the room?" She mocked.
His face flushed and he said, "That's none of your business lady!"
"Oh, my... Did you fall for her? Sorry, that's not the way for you to treat her that way. You should be careful of your mouth. Since I'm in her body, I can read all her memories and what she feels. Even what she feels about you," She let out a smirk.
His face turned very red that he had to raise his voice, "I don't care what she feels towards me! Even though she's a useless vampire, she's still important!"
"Well, if she's that important, why don't you try to let her out of her misery? This room is cursed. I am her misery, her sadness that lay inside her," I, no, she walked nearer and nearer towards him. "She was born without happiness and you of course, will never understand that!"
"Who said that I don't?! Don't judge people when you don't even know about them!" He replied furiously or rather fiercely.
Suddenly, I trembled. I tried to let myself out of her grasp and tried to remove myself from being possessed by her, "Don't tell him that! Don't tell anyone!" I screamed.
Suddenly, he dashed towards me and gave me a hug and whispered, "Let go of your sadness... I'm here. Don't worry," He persuaded.I fought the dark and sad inner me but, she was so strong.
"Don't be scared. I'm here," He whispered again.
Finally, I managed to get her out of my body. I panted vigorously that I knew I was sweating by that time. He, who was still there, stood there in silence, maybe considering that it was his fault.
"Thanks," I started.
"Well, since I owe you something..." He replied.
"Just now... About I'm important... Is it true?"
Bat who was eaves-dropping let out a mischievous smirk.
"Well," He blushed. "Of course! You are my Food-supply! And, you provides food!"
He did get on my nerves and as usual, I shouted back, "Fine! I'll be your forever food-supply and bring not much importance to you! Why are you just so not gentleman compared to Bat?" I walked away.
He stared towards Bat and he shrugged. As expected from a Bat.

Hours of walking an finally, the sun was about to wake now. We settled in an inn that was called 'Sunrise' that the place was build in the orient where the sun really rise there. I'm not quite sure why did he brought me there or he's something on his sleeves that I didn't know. Plus, the sun's up a bit longer compared to when we were in the west so, I guess it's best for both Bat and I to settle down a bit.
"Hey, I think I need your blood now..." His voice sounded quite strange that morning.
"Oh, okay then," I answered in quite a shocking way.
"Don't jerk or jolt or even move because the more you move, the more you suffer," He said as he turned me around and my back facing him.
I shifted my collar a bit to make it easier for him to have his feast. Now, I could feel his breath behind my neck, exhaling a warm breath and somewhat making me blush all of a sudden. I didn't want to but my body automatically quivered from what he was doing.
"Hey, stop shivering," He whispered.
"I know..."
"Don't you dare try to look behind or I'll kill you."
To prevent me from continue moving, he embraced me from behind and somehow almost sunk his fangs into my neck but suddenly, something killed the atmosphere that it was Bat who was suddenly awake from his slumber. He jolted out of where he was hanging and quickly bit Hans hand that made him jerked away from me. Bat went to me and gave me a quick hug while giving an angry glare towards Hans and a few sobs was heard from him, "I should've known that you're up to no good! As a man, you should be ashamed of yourself for mistreating a pure young lady that way!"
"What the hell are you blabbering about you stupid Bat?" He said with his face turning red, puffing non-stop.
"Bat, it's a misunderstanding..." I tried to explain but everything turned worse.
"What?! Well at least, you need to get married first!" He exclaimed with a large scowl on his face.
A very dark and gloom aura was emitted from Hans' body as he grabbed the raven bat and gestured to choke him while yelling, "Stupid Bat! I was about to have my feast by the time you interrupted! And what the hell did you mean by 'you should be ashamed of yourself for mistreating a pure young lady' when she is my Food-Supply?!" His face turned ruddy. "And what makes you think that I'm into that delicacy in doing stuffs as lowly as that towards that useless female vampire? Nothing is attractive about her!"
Bat was now quivering. He retorted, "Yes, sir! I get it... I'm sorry!"
"Please stop bullying Bat and sorry for not being attractive but that's not the reason for you to shout it out loud!" I shouted as I made my way to the doorway. I knew that even though I couldn't go out, at least, I could loiter around inside the inn. So, I went out of the room and headed towards the most secluded area in the Inn that was the cursed room that I did not bother myself with whatsoever curse was it. I settled down and cried to my fullest there and let out a thought of 'How can I ever tolerate with his vulgar words?!' for quite a while. I think, this was the best way to express my sadness and ran away from him for a while.
"You better go and apologize. She had never been that sad back in our Land when she was still a little girl. You said too much to hurt her," Bat advised.
"You lowly creature has no right to raise a word on me," He threatened him.
"It doesn't matter what you do to me, but, seeing her like that is my first time right after we separated when she was still 4. Well, I might not be able to see her agony by that time since that was when her father was exiled. She went through lots of thing and never for once I was able to see her smile from the bottom of her heart," He explained briefly.
"I get it. You want her to smile then fine, I'll do it but in return, never dare to disturb me while I'm feasting her got that?!" He let out a heavy sigh.
"Cross my heart. Let's go together," Bat persuaded him.
Then, off they went to search for a little me who was very sensitive and a bit selfish and self-centered.

At last, the sun yielded to the moon and it’s time for us to continue our journey, walking aimlesly and I finally lost what I was to aim for in human world. Bat was still flying beside me not forgetting that lazy bums still refused to say a word to mock me or to scold me or whatever. It’s like he’s a different person when he was in silence. I was already over this kind of thing and could control my emotions now but... Oh, Hans please speak up!
I turned around to face him and gave him a large scowl. He deliberately stopped and raised one of his eye-brows as the usual question mark, “What the hell do you want with me?”
“What? Want me to console you? Do I look like a baby-sitter to you? Catch a hold of yourself!” He said in a very harsh tone which that what I was waiting for.
I burst in laughter while both Hans and Bat were puzzled by my sudden reaction and were staring towards each other. Bat finally said, “Am I the one who’s hallucinating or she’s...”
Hans retorted, “Yeah, she’s lost it.”
“What? I thought you would stop mocking me when I was in that kind of state... Now, I’m kind of relieved,” I asnwered.
“Hey, listen Food-supply... For me to stop mocking is way too impossible to dream on. My priority is ‘keep on mocking while you can and give that sneer for those who are stupid’.”
“You’re saying I’m stupid?” I frowned and was glaring at him sharply.
“That goes without saying,” He let out one of his obnoxious smirk.
“Why you...” I lifted my hand to slap him but unfortunately, he managed to catch my hand before I could do so.
“Heh, you’re just too weak to go up against me Food-supply. Better do better than that,” He laughed sarcastically.
Bat who was watching from the very beginning gave a sly grin and just fly by my side without a diction, watching it as if it’s a lover’s quarrel (Don’t ever think about it Bat!). I tried to smack him with my other hand and he managed to catch it too. I jumped and and tried to kick him accurately on his stomach but he was too fast to let go of both of my hand and dodge my attack.
“Woah, you can be violent Food-supply,” He mocked.
“If it wasn’t for you, I’ll just be a good girl and wouldn’t bother myself in attacking you!” I exclaimed at the top of my lungs.
“Listen here, If you want to attack an enemy, better know his weak-point,” He explained.
“Teaching me anything about violence is just a waste of your time,” I replied furiously.
“Oh, really? What if I deliberately attacked you or any other vampire or bad slut did? Can you defend yourself?” He explained.
“Hmm... Bat is here to save me right Bat? You are my knight in shining armor right?” I turned towards Bat with a smile carved on my face.
Bat retorted an answer ‘yes’ hastily and got that evil and lethal stare from Hans who was quite angry of that answer. He went towards Bat, catched him with his hand and said, “I wonder whether this so called ‘knight-in-shining-armor’ can defeat me now...”. His sapphire eyes shone sadistically towards me. I grabbed him by the shoulders and yelled, “Don’t bully my Bat! He’s innocent!”
“Oh, if this ‘knight-in-shining-armor’ can defeat me then I don’t mind if you don’t learn any martial arts or self-defence since I am not going to be the one to save you if you are in danger...” Let let out a devilish sneer towards me while trying to choke Bat with all his might.
“Okay, okay... I get it HANSEL! Stop chocking my Bat!” I shouted.
He let go of Bat and stared at me with a shocking look on his face, “Even after you know my name, why are you still calling me with that name?”
“Well, uh... It slipped from my mouth,” I paused. “Why did you lie about your name?”
‘’What? You really want to know?” He asked.
“If you don’t mind,” I replied.
“Well, since you’re the first vampire who didn’t recognize me, that makes it easier to decieve you. Plus, you’re an idiot, It’s fun to seduce you even though I’m not into that kind of stuffs,” He grinned while his sapphire eyes gleamed sarcastically, looking towards me.
“Bat, how can I ever tolerate with his vulgar dictions,” I sulked while hugging Bat.
Even with my back was facing him, I could still feel the intense killing aura lurking behind me, might be heading towards Bat. Bat who was shivering, couldn’t stop sweating while embracing me tightly. I thought I would like to keep this kind of atmosphere for a while now.

The old vampire who I called dad was smiling broadly facing his head towards me, as if he knew what had happened.
"There's no need for you to hide the detail, my child. You, Hans Royard, had fulfilled your task as a vampire hunter without a shred of doubts and even mercy even towards the one who cares for my daughter, but, you do have that weak side of yours since I found my daughter's life is safe by your hands."
The atmosphere grew to intense awkwardness and I couldn't lift my eyes away from his sturdy figure who was standing masculinely upon us, giving a cold stare towards the old vampire.
My father continued, "My child, have you come to a knowledge of your own cousin's feeling towards you?"
My feelings swayed in a horror of my own thoughts. I bravened myself to speak, "I may acknowledge that kindness of his, but, I cannot accept those pure feelings he casted on me. I... do not share the same feeling as he, who's willing to do anything for the sake of the one he loved. I'm regret to not being able to reply his feelings for all these years. I'm... sorry." I kept my head down from seeing his expression.
"Raise your head, my child. There's nothing for you to regret as you know your happiness is also his. And the one who should be regretting is me. I failed to fulfill my vow to you," He muttered with his voice beginning to dominish.
I held his hands and retorted, "No! You don't have to regret it! If it wasn't because of you, I wouldn't have been alive on the first place!"
Finally, he gave one of his warm smile, "I assume that I have not enough energy for further the conversation. Young lad, I entrust my daughter and my bat under your protection even though I know that it's against your protocol. But, you may use her as your food-supply and in return, supply her for the same. That is to lift that debt you had made since you've killed my nephew."
Somewhere deep inside my heart, I was actually wanted to say, "It comes without you telling that."
"I have your words. Trust me, she may be useless but, her blood is extravagant for any other ordinary blood," He smirked.
"I know. She has the same blood as mine. It's time for me to say good night, my child."
My heart throbbed, pounding hardly and almost burst. I tried to hold my tears a bit longer and gave him a faint, weak smile, "Good night, Dad. Have a peaceful slumber."
Then, his body too turned to dust. I lost two of my most important person in just a single day and I even retrieved a new comrade at the same time. I was confused whether to be happy or to be sad but one thing that I knew was both souls were happy that they had been realeased from the curse. Hans had his right hand on my left shoulder and said, "It must be hard on you."
"Will you mind if I borrow your shoulder?" I asked.
He said nothing and embraced me that made me burst to tears. I could hear his heartbeat but that's not the point! The point was that I didn't want to see that Sapphire eyes looking at me with that pity look on them. I wanted them to always gleamed with that sly look, mischievously playing tricks on me. I didn't quite sure why I wanted that to happen but I knew that that was the only way to make my heart be at ease. Bat, who shared the same feeling as me, settled down on my shoulder with tears still in his eyes. We knew the solitude of losing the one we loved. We knew....
