The Plague
Well, seeing as I have a few minutes, I'll tell a tale of monetary promiscuity. Though the word I use will lead you to think it was a terrible and horrible thing that I did, I am enjoying everything I normally do on the computer even more.
I took my wallet to a place called Micro Center and got one of the last pieces to add to my computer, a monitor. Not just any monitor though... a 46" LCD HD Television :D
Even now in my Japanese class as I type this blog entry, I am longing to go and use my computer to play games and pretty much anything else my computer does (which is a lot). Aside from that, the new monitor has not helped my addiction to World of Warcraft. In fact, I spent 16 hours playing on Sunday...
Anyway, its time for class :D

The Wrath
Well, it has been some time hasn't it?
I am once again playing WoW and having a great time.
I would take some time to explain how much better the expansion is, but I know that the few who read this don't care all that much. Its ok, for awhile neither did I.
Anyway, last weekend I spent some time in Arkansas with Caesar and went to the second annual A2f (Arkansas Anime Festival). I managed to get a costume ready by Halloween - and I mean I got what I needed the day before. I put together a Dr.McNinja costume, and boy did it look great for only needing a lab coat and a name tag to go with the black shirt and white tie I already had.
I would put a picture up now, but there are only 3 minutes left in the queue for WoW.
anyway, I think I'll be off to play some WoW now :D

New Computer :D - Isn't working too well
ok, I have a new computer. I built it myself.
It wont let me format the hard drive... so I can't load Windows onto it.
I know I'm using a forum that's not too entirely good at this kind of thing, but the one that is is not giving good answers either.

here are the specs in case anyone might read this who knows about it:
Processor: AMD 8450 phenom x3
Mother Board: Biostar A770 A2+
RAM: four 2 GB sticks of RAM 800Mhz
Power supply: 500W
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
F8 button isn't really doing anything it is supposed to during startup.
typically you press F8 to boot from disk and then it does what it does and you can then format the disk.
On my Vista disk, which works perfectly fine it will show a blue screen of death before I ever would see the option to format.
On my old XP disk, it just goes on for hours saying setup is starting windows.
All the hardware seems to be in working order, but I can't for some reason format this hard drive... I'm not aware of any BIOS settings that would prevent this from working, but I've switched everything that makes sense to me...
help plz, anybody
THIS IS NOT FUN
Ok, I don't know why I let myself get roped into this... I am not going to finish editing the O story by myself and not by the end of today. I'm stuck in the middle of one of the last six parts, and I'm bound to spend more time editing this than I would the last five parts. If anyone has any experience with writing properly, you know... in English, and you want to give me a hand with this sometime today, give me an IM on AIM username: Krustyknuckles or email me at [email protected]. I'll accept any help I can get. As long as I'm not the one jumping from my balcony by the end of this big mess.
I'd prefer if anyone who wants to help has word 2007, but anywhere between that and 2001 is fine, there are some editing protocols I have in place to make things go faster (if only they'd work better).
so, if you'll excuse me, I'll go pull my hair out now.

A-fest 2008
Well, I'm back from my frolicking among the legion of zombies that occupy the Hyatt Regency Hotel of Downtown Dallas every year on Memorial Day weekend.
at least two disappointments tho...
- I don't know where my camera's battery charger is
- I forgot my sketch pad and pencils/stuff
- I spent more than I wanted to?
- I couldn't find a box set of anime I wanted this time...
I think that's all I have for disappointments...
Oh right, I think I caught a bug - damn infected zombies, they should know to stay home if they are sick... My throat hurts
anyway, now that my pessimism has been satisfied, I'll get along to the good part.
