Great show, as usual. The intro was beautiful and the rest was amusing.
I honestly don't know much about this (or any) anti-whaling group, although they sound insane. But, what do I know? Ya, whaling is a problem, but it's also not necessarily the whalers fault, like these idiots seem to think. Fishermen have to earn a living too. Besides, in this day and age I've got to figure that there is better, less harmful, and LEGAL way to work on this issue. But, once again what do I know?
As far as these celebrity deaths are concerned, I guess this is evidence that even in death, famous people will always try to up-stage each other. Don't get me wrong, it's a tragedy for those involved, I just wish the media would stop covering Jackson's death like it 9/11 all over again. Yes, he was famous and now he's dead. Boo-hoo. It's not like there is anything else happening in the world. *cough*Iran*cough*

Ya the celebrities are dropping back to back, the only people that I can see benefiting or having the recourses to pull that off is the Iranian government: to distract the world from the citizen's blight and the election fiasco.
The new Avatar movie looks like it will have some nice production value behind it but, the twist this time is that the movie is directed by M.Night Shyamalan which could be awesome, scary, or scary awesome.
Whatever he does with it, I sure it won't be as weird as the up coming G-Force movie. How do they get from 'battle of the planets' to Guinea pig force?

As a Chinese-Canadian, I can think of so many better things to hold grudges against the Japanese for besides Pearl Harbor. Sooooo so so many better things.
Or worse things, depending on how you wanna look at it. Still doesn't mean I dislike them on a personal level or anything, though, them Japanese are an interesting folk.
They just . . . need to own up to a couple things, is all. Then I'll have zero beef with them. Well, mostly, anyway.
For someone to have a current grudge against Japan for Pearl Harbor (especially if this person wasn't even around during WWII) is ridiculous. It makes no sense to hold an entire population at fault for something that happened when the majority of them weren't even alive at the time. It's like holding everyone in the South now responsible for the Civil War.
It seems to be a law of the universe that celebrities always die in groups.
I had never read any of the guy's other works, but I did also notice when I picked up the first couple volumes of Fairy Tail that it looked a lot like One Piece. I'm not a fan of One Piece, but I intend to give the Fairy Tail anime a try since I'd be getting in at the ground floor and not having to back track through a ton of episodes.
Heh... I'd compete in an MST test of knowledge too but I think I'd fail even though I've been a fan for a long time, because I'm not really good with the Joel episodes, or even a lot of the Mike episodes from the Comedy Central days. I gotta watch more. And we always hope you guys will pop in and join us sometime.

Yeah, Batou, those were my remarks on Fox's making a new Dragonball movie instead of burning the money outright, as well as whether Chow Yun Fat would get suckered into taking another shot at it. My apologies, I never saw the 2nd or 3rd Pirates movies; I didn't care much about the first one to begin with.
I thought the Avatar trailer looked fine, but I doubt that I'll go out and see it; not a series I'm particularly into. And I'd really rather Hollywood just took a break and came up with some good, solid, original ideas rather than trying to live-action make every popular animated film/remake old TV series.

I don't even see a fraction of this for the soldiers that die in combat protecting us (the US) and yet, for this guy (who many hold dear and he is an important part of American history I'm not disputing that) who was a celebrity? THANK YOU JESUS! Omg, someone who actually shares my view on that dumb anti-whaling group or whatever it is. I saw one episode of it on Discovery Channel and was appalled at what they did! I mean, I have nothing against trying to "save whales" if you will, but what they did was down right sneaky (in this particular episode). They basically pegged the Japanese ship with stink bombs (and not the ones you peg at your brothers, I mean hard core ones) then they infiltrated their ship, took a video of it, sent it to various media groups and said in the tape that the Japanese took their guys hostage and wouldn't release them! (Which was bullcrap, they even said that they would have let them go, they just kept antagonizing the Japanese.) So yah...I hope a harpoon goes through their ship, teach them a lesson....
And woots for Fairy Tail! That series is so funny. I love Happy, he rules all! lol
I dunno, see, I think the bowling ball would be a great excuse to start chucking it at younger siblings. *looks over at younger sister* but in all other situations...yah...bad idea. (Someone had to have been drunk when coming up with the idea)
FFVII has been doing amazingly well (to put in perspective how old this is, my sister, whose seven and a half years older than me, played it when she was 13 or 14...I'm 17 now.). Yeah Hiro Mashima did study under master Oda, which is amazing. Avatar is getting a live action? I saw Transformers this weekend, and there was no Avatar movie trailer.
I still haven't beaten FF7 yet, I'm only at 89% and I have spent half my life on it. Yes, a bowling ball is a good idea to play with in front of a television. A Otaku-off, that would be hard to plan, but fun to enjoy. Although, it would seem that Ichigo's contest was planned then he vanishes, it seems a little bit shady as well. Oh well, what can you do?
