But first, last week's winners:
In third place, with a line that wasn't even her actual caption submission: Clozimodo!
Why is everyone saying "I choose you, bread!"? It's quite obviously a caterpie
In second place, being funny while still getting a message across (kinda): edisshort!
While other heroes have swords, guns and kunais, Azuma has bread......that's what happens to anime when people pirate dvds.
And in the coveted first place, with a powerful punning that just came out wonderfully... cutepresea!
And so, Azuma used the bread to find his way through the maze. "Pan's Labyrinth" later won three Academy Awards.
Job well done! There were some real charmers this week... but that was last week, on to the present!
So this week's screencap comes quite fresh, courtesy of red tigress and featuring that good ol' Bleach show. In case anyone actually needs this, the guy is Ichigo, the girl is Nel... that said... there is obviously a very obvious way this particular caption battle can go. Again, I won't stop anyone from going there, but if you can't do it in a clever, interesting way that doesn't just offend the heck out of people, then it ain't gonna fly. But nevertheless, we're going with it; guys, don't let me down:
