Half an Hour of ReBoot Glory From AE 2009

One of the greatest shows to ever be prematurely cancelled. ReBoot is finding its way back into the public eye as its fans continue to demand more and more...

...so naturally, it kicked all kinds of byte to see a panel hosted by the creators and cast at Anime Evolution in Vancouver, BC (the home of the show, no less). They had a reunion! A couple, actually: one on Saturday, June 13th, and one the following Sunday.

There were lots of amazing things to be heard, including the story behind the Wallace and Gromit penguin, Gillian Anderson's role as "Data Nully", and everything you could ever want to know about CG cleavage in a children's show!

Guests included ReBoot co-creator Gavin Blair, voice actors Shirley Milliner (Hexadecimal), Paul Dobson (Matrix), Sharon Alexander (AndrAIa), Garry Chalk (Slash, Turbo), and Michael Donovan (Phong, Mike the TV, and more). Further, Ian James Corlett (Bob) was available via Skype/webcam in what probably many people felt was amazing to see actually work out.

Also, Scott McNeil (Hack) was there. All you kids love Scott McNeil, after all!

Now I was late to the panel, sadly, as we got hung up in another thing earlier in the day; I only saw the last half hour or so. The good news, however, was that I videotaped it and would love to!

So until someone from Anime Evolution Corp. or Rainmaker Entertainment tells us to pull the plug on this post... enjoy!

Oh how I miss ReBoot... and oh how they need to finish off that devastating cliffhanger at the end of "My Two Bobs"...
