Blue Symphony

Back when I was taking an Art Appreciation Class I learned that a painting that is made using only different tones of one color is called a Symphony. When the proffesor said that I instantly thought of making a paint with different values of blue and with a violin so it'd have a music theme!!!! This painitng is 100% and made on a canvas panel! I hope you all enjoy it! Comments are well appreciated.

Beautiful Mind

This is a painting reflecting the human mind! I'm amazed by the machinations of the brain! It's amazing how mathematicians have been able to dicover so much!!! Scientists as well!!! So I decided to make a painting for it. Sadly sometimes people think too much and do bad things with the amazing discoveries... I hope you all like it! Comments are well appreciated!

Siblings!

I've realized this world is a little bit boring... So I'll spice things up with an amazing video!!!! This video is so amazing it deserves to be watched by everyone!!!!!!! As you all know if you've seen some of my paintings, my favorite artist is Paul Klee! In my opinion his BEST painting out of all 9,000 is "Siblings":

Somebody on youtube has amazing animating skills and did this video from that painting and I just think it's so adorable!!!! WATCH IT NOW!!!!

Paul's Technique

This is a painting I did based on Paul Klee's oil technique. First you do a layer of different colors on the canvas. Then you wait for days until all the oil paint dries. After it does, paint over it another layer with the colors you want it to have. While still wet scrape parts of the new layer so the colors from the layer beneath show! It's a fun technique. I had done something similar before but with a layer of crayon and a layer of acrylic paint. This time i did it with oils 100%! It's better!!! In a way I like how it came out because it looks extremely glossy!!! But then again I used extremely dark colors on both layers on the water and sky parts so you can't tell very well where I did the scraping on these two parts of the painting. Especially the sky... Luckily it looks just fine on the grass and dead trees. Let me know what you think, I know it's not a beautiful painting but does it have to?

Paul Klee once said: "To emphasize only the beautiful seems to me to be like a mathematical system that only concerns itself with positive numbers."

He also said: "Beauty is as relative as light and dark. Thus, there exists no beautiful woman, none at all, because you are never certain that a still far more beautiful woman will not appear and completely shame the supposed beauty of the first." My point is only the first sentence, there's a lot of beautiful people out there in my opinion.

Lucchino

Just a painting of the dog my grandfather used to have! I really liked that dog! It was an Italian Greyhound! Its name was Lucchino. I miss him so I did a painting of him! This story is linked to this ...
