Tales of Okuri Tale 2 of 7 Beauty and the Beasts

Inuko Tadaka had been the sort of girl that was showered by comments of her great beauty and surrounded by hordes of boys hoping (but always disappointed) to get her in bed.

But you could never tell by looking at her older brother. Daichi Tadaka, as he was named, was a tall brooding man with dark hair and a scar across his cheek.

Her mother, Mayumi Tadaka, was in her 50s. Councilor to the Emperor, she also had dark hair, usually contrasting her white makeup and red lipstick.

Her father, Masanori Tadaka, was in his seventies (her parents had their marriage arranged). He had no hair at all, save his thin eyebrows.

Inuko used to be the best looking among her peers. She used to live in the same city as the emperor. And she used to have more time with her family. But, three months ago, her father had gone to work on the new Shogunate with the ninja as protection. The ninja soon came back, and informed her that her father would be safe. Then Daichi left to offer his services to Shogun Isamu Honma. Her mother grew deranged out of loneliness.

2 months earlier, she did a terrible thing to herself. She had wandered into the emperor’s temple and touched a forbidden object: a vial full of human blood. It fell on her head and the broken glass cut her. The blood in the vial, still infused with powerful chakra of its previous owner, entered her body and changed it, as well as her chakra.

Although she had been taught in the dojo since age six, it was only after this event that she took any interest in fighting. She became a master of sword fighting and hand-to-hand combat. She ran fast for miles without tiring. These traits, along with her keen senses, caught the interest of the Bushin Geisha group.
