The Story is pretty long and complicated(if not pretty confusing for starters),so I'll skip.Plus,all characters get their own story.
But what's great is that they added some special mini-episodes to help you understand the World of Blazblue better.Also hilarious as hell.Once you understand the story,it's pretty epic too.
Sad thing is,in Calamity,there's a lot of cool of cool-looking characters who are not playable.Fortunately,most of them become playable in the sequel(Jubei is still no playable.It's justifiable)
While the gameplay is worthy of a hardcore gamer,it does have a bit of issues in balance(Jin's Ice Car,Noel's easy combos or Nu's sword attack,among others.) but with skill,those are non-factors.While the game has the ''Easy Specials'' feature,made to make the game easier to beginners,it's all about speed and skill at using your characters.Every character can be good.
