ohhh... third year high...
Aside from being active in Taekwondo, I was actually a member of the cheer leading team of our school. I transfered to Navotas National High School (NNHS for short) this last school year due to financial problems. I admit that I got a little nervous going to this school since not once in my life I had been in a public school. My recent schools are "Parochial Schools" or in other words, Catholic Schools.
But I guess going to NNHS was not a regret after all. Here in the Philippines, we private students (especially me) think that public school students are rough, rude and got a nasty attitude since their behavior is not really cared about by the teachers. I was wrong about that, because they share the naughtiness and cheerfulness I have. And really, they are easy to get on with. I find them approachable and very nice friends.
On July 2009, one of my classmates invited me to join the school's cheer leading club since they're recruiting members for an inter-high school competition (where rival high schools in Navotas bang their heads against with). I was interested, so I joined. And I thought that its alright if I joined even in just one extracurricular activity (its actually the only thing I've joined...) since I'm not really interested in joining academical activities and such (even if I do get high grades in class).
Joining this cheer leading not only improved my flexibility and physical attributes *laughs* but also it helped me made new friends even from other year and section. Too bad that we only became 2nd placers but I regard this cheer leading as one of the best moments in my life. In fact, I'm planning to make a wallpaper out of this.
If you're asking where I am in the vid, well just guess! Clue: I'm mostly doing stunts while being thrown up in the air... XD
What do you think about our cheer dance?
