Well this was unexpected, even though it was only a short amount of time Estelle had managed to make me enjoy myself in the pool and take my mind off of the entire incident of last night. Even so, I was glad she did because just being playful and it made me at ease. THANK GOD she didn’t see my back. I admit though, there were some strange moments, like when she brought up the past memory. I thought by now she would know the reason why I never bathed with her, cooties was a childhood reason. However, I thought she was mature enough to figure it out that I dangle down below. Tsk, Estelle is slow sometimes. Even that strange hugging me moment made me feel a bit uncomfortable but to make her feel safe I didn’t play too much into it.
After that, I found myself on a date with her, which I agreed to help her go grocery shopping. I suppose it was a good idea to dress like I did because one, it was cold out, and two, it was slightly raining, and most importantly we were in a town not welcoming of gijinkas so making myself look as humanly as possible was the goal and I think did just that with the black fur trim top jacket and the hat. I never really dressed like this but since Estelle was so worried about it, I only wanted to make her feel more comfortable. This was the perfect opportunity to get my mind off of things.
As we walked the city, Estelle and I chit chatted but it was obvious to me she was hungry since her stomach growled pretty loudly. I even suggested a café near town where I remembered a drink that she loved and ordered. Nevertheless, it was abrupt with her freaking out about the weather. It really did annoy me that she wanted to leave so sudden and so quickly. We had only just gotten to the city. Whatever it was fine, my mood had only gotten a bit more depressed after that. But hell faking everything wasn’t too hard. At the very least I offered to buy her something at a pretzel stand, which she agreed. Once I got her something with extra salt, I had noticed she had wondered off. I searched for about 5 minutes when I found her over with some Raichu man.
Apparently she had invited him to join the mansion, the more the merrier I suppose. After a 30-minute walk we had arrived at the mansion and the storm was about to hit its peak. Technically this didn’t bother me.
"Lux-kun could you help Raimundo-san find a room please? I have to.. ano.. go take care of something. Thank you for today! Oyasumi nasai to you both!" With that said Estelle was gone. Where was my apology for being abandoned earlier? Grr, I will just noogie her head later.
I took my hat off and smiled, “Well there she goes, as busy as a Beedrill.”
“Indeed, though it appears she is a bit nervous about something.” Rai mentioned.
“Whatever, let’s show you to your new room shall we? Do you want lower level or upper level?” I asked.
“WHOA! Is there THAT many people?” His eyes were wide from surprise.
“Technically, we have spares just because of noise levels. And some of the gijinkas,” I chuckled, “Are just too damn lazy to go up the stairs.”
He gave a laugh and smiled as he wiggled his ears, “How about you?”
“I’m upstairs I prefer to be closer to the sky.” I wagged my tail and placed my left hand in my pocket as I held the hat in my right. “So let’s hurry up and find you a room. Down stairs or up stairs.”
“Ahh…” He lowered his head and gave a sheepish smile, “Down stairs.”
“Lazy ass!” I smacked his head as he let our a small cry and walked by. “Haha alright let’s go.”
So we were on our way to the steps but turned to the right to the first level of the male area. I pointed out the doors and whom they belonged too. I assured him that everyone would be welcoming even though some personalities may not be so pleasing at first.
We continued to walk down the hall and stopped in front of the one that was orange and yellow. “Here you go man!”
He tilted his head in confusion then slowly opened it, I stood there with my arms crossed as his face glistened with excitement. I let him enter as he looked around to his new home. I waited outside for a few minutes so he could take it all in until the moment came when he reappeared outside the door.
“I have a question, how did you all know what I liked in my room and what colors to choose?” He asked a bit concerned, “You were stalking me were you or checking me out or something because if so that’s creepy!”
Holding my hands up and waving them side to side I assured him that wasn’t the case, “There is no way we could have for saw your arrival here. Think of it this way, this mansion is a bit magical and when a new person moves in, it can read the mind and create a room of their liking within a matter of moments. It’s very fascinating really. I have to still look into it.” I told him adjusting my glasses on my face.
“Weird….like a mind of it’s own…..” He stood there pondering it with his thumb on his chin.
I scoffed for a moment and turned, “Ha! Make yourself at home Rai, it’s nice to meet you. If you excuse me I have some matters to take care of.”
“You wouldn’t happen to be going outside are you?”
I stopped in my tracks and gave a sly smirk as I turned to him, “I am, why?”
He grinned cracking his fingers, “No particular reason…just to have some fun in the storm.”
“Oh ho kid, you are speaking my language.” I showed my claws with a smirk. I already had a liking to him because he was electrical and he had the same idea for fun as I did.
We agreed to meet outside within 10 minutes so he could make himself at home and I could drop off these baggy clothes. Once I got my main outfit on I headed out on my way towards the steps, however, I had forgotten to ask Estelle something about the time she wanted to leave tomorrow morning. However, when I got there the door was open all the way and I could see two figures there.
One of course was Estelle and the other, turned out to be Tanner. What made this even more odd that he was knitting something. I thought only old ladies did that. Then it came to my mind, his long hair, his other personality….he was a transgender woman with PMS issues!
No that wasn’t it but I kept picturing him in a rocking chair with wrinkles that seemed never endless. Oh god my mind goes into way to many fantasies. As I watched for a few seconds, I could tell how intense he was working.
“You like her, don’t you?” I whispered to him standing within the doorframe.
“Yes, a quite bit, actually,” He replied as I entered the room and stood against the wall with my arms crossed watching him. “But I probably don’t have much luck because she’s still in love with you.”
I blinked and kept my cool but couldn’t help but move with the part he said, ‘still in love with you.’ That couldn’t be possible and why would she when she had him now. No, there was no reason to think about that now. “What are you making?”
“Earmuffs,” He sighed.
“Why earmuffs?” It wasn’t that damn cold out. He really did remind me of a grandmother. I wonder if he wears diapers too.
“Because Estelle’s afraid of thunderstorms and the sound of thunder. You didn’t know?” So that explained her strange behavior earlier. I was suspicious of her but wasn’t entirely sure since she had been acting strange around me all day. Also, why would she be afraid of thunderstorms when she can use an electrical attack PLUS I was an electrical pokemon. That made NO sense whatsoever!!!
Still in love with you..
I needed to leave and so I slipped out of the room unnoticed and made my way to the roof where the rain was already coming down. It wasn’t hard rain, it was a nice shower but the lighting and thunder was something you could take in.
Standing on the ledge I awaited the Raichu to show up and within moment he was only a few feet away from me giving me a cocky smile. He wasn’t built like me though, he was slim but very athletic where I was athletic as well but muscular. However, this was going to be fun to say the least. It had been awhile since I had done this exercise.
“Glad you showed up,” I said turning my head towards him. “And here I thought you might have chickened out on our little ‘game’. So it only goes to say, I am delighted to see you.”
“Same here Luxray, it’s been awhile since I had some fun in a rain storm but please,” He swung his tail around and bent his knees ready to take off, “Don’t go easy on me!”
He jumped in the area and swirled around a circle and started off with an iron tail. I blocked it with both of my arms and grinned, “I would never have considered it!” I tossed him into the air and we were off as lighting was flying everywhere.
To those of you thinking we were fighting, actually you would be wrong. This exercise is technically something we electrical types do in storms. Call it sparing but it’s also a chance to use our thunder attacks on the other with causing little to no damage on the opponent. That was the benefit of finding someone who was like me, an electrical type. If it were Xio, of course it would be to the death.
Rai and I jumped from window seal to the ground as we attacked each other. I did a round about kick, which he blocked, and he tried an upper cut which I dodged. We both even ran side besides smirking at the other as we continued our sparing.
I was able to manage to outwit him with a double team as he used a volt tackle. I watched him from above the roof and jumped off as I came crashing towards him, “THUNDER!” as my claws carried that attack..
“DISCHARGE!!!” He screamed as he brought both of his arms back and flung electricity at me as I used mine against his.
It was like a matrix, I floated in mid air as he and I used our attacks where the electrical strength was evenly matched sending us both flying as it exploded causing a giant flash in the sky. Actually we were making the storm even more disruptive. Needless to say, we both absorb the power of the storm and healed quickly.
Lucky for me I landed on a nearby window ledge. I saw something floating in the corner of my eye, so I turned to see Estelle using a psychic attack to place Tanner in bed with her. Then she leaned over in the little to no clothes she was in and kissed him. She…she was sleeping with him….were they going to have sex?
“What the hell?” I was stunned, no shocked, no…I…hell if I know! What I did know is they were sleeping together. Peacefully?!?! THE FUCK!?!?!
“FOCUS PUNCH!” Was the only thing I heard as I took a straight hard fist to the face sending me down hard onto the ground. I let out a small scream as I hit the ground from the force. The sound of the storm covered it up though.
Rai quickly landed beside me as I laid there for a moment, “Oh dear god!! Sorry I didn’t think you were really spacing out there. I thought it was a trick or something! My bad! Sorry Lux!” He extended his hand to me and I grabbed it and brushed myself off. “You okay?”
I honestly just was shocked with what I saw. I just couldn’t believe it. How the hell could Tanner say that to me when he was sleeping with her. Estelle doesn’t love me, that much I was certain she just wasn’t comfortable being around me was all since she decided to erase her memories. Maybe it would be better for me to distance myself from her.
“Damn that is some attack there, not bad.” I complimented him, it really was a good attack. I patted his back. “It was so strong it woke me up from a day dream. Hahahaha….”
His face got a bit red as the sky lit up once again from lighting and thunder. We were both already drenched from the storm but he still managed to smile, “Thanks, its been a long time since someone complimented me on that.”
“Shall we continue?” I placed both of my hands in front of me.
“Yes!”
“Okay…charge beam!” I smiled and fired right him in arm’s length.
“GAH!!! NO FAIR!!” I heard him complain as he fell to his knees.
“Alls fair in love and war!” I smirked getting lower and waving for him to come.
He did and we continued for another hour or so. After that we both walked back with his arm around my shoulder and mine around his.
“Damn that was fun but my butt hurts!” He grumbled.
“Pfft, I don’t think I needed to know that last part dumbass!”
“Yeah yeah! I think I am gonna head to bed now and possibly eat what I brought.” He stumbled across the floor. His energy was a bit drained, okay we both were since that was the point of our exercise is to build up as much as possible then release it and be completely tired out by the end. “It was a great welcome and a lot of fun.”
“Same here, maybe we can do it again someday.”
“Sure thing Lux and besides after sparing with you, I can tell I got stronger so thank you.” He bowed and walked away back in the direction. “Just don’t use your entire power yet, I fear I am not ready for it since I could tell you are even more powerful then you lead on. Night!” He waved without looking.
“Hmph, smart ass kid.” I liked him, so he could tell I was holding back but then again he wasn’t weak either. I admit, I admired his skill and would surely spare with him again in the nearby future.
I thought I would be hungry but after what I saw, I guess I was more disgusted then anything.
Why would Estelle be in love with me? It made no sense and it wasn’t very logical to me. She had rejected me before Hoom and I were even official because Estelle loved Reo. Then all the bullshit happened with the erasing memories and all that I moved on with my life. Now she has all that back, without Reo and with Tanner. I could accept that but those words were ringing in my head so much.
At the festival I clearly stated that I loved her but I wasn’t in love with her. I only loved her like a sister nothing more, it was like the feelings I had for Shupple. But with that one kiss, it changed everything. Even with the pain in my heart with Hoom things between Estelle and I were not settled.
Is that why Hoom allowed me to kiss Estelle? I didn’t realize it at the moment, but it was all coming together like a puzzle. Hoom let me kiss Estelle because she knew I wasn’t going to leave this place and that she was going to abandon me. Is that why? It’s such a perplex situation, god I hated this all.
I felt played, and knowing my feelings and my time was all just some sick game made me sick. God I hated being second to anyone and let alone feeling like those people around me really cared. I can honestly say I am not sure what I feel for Estelle at this moment because all I wanted to do was be a bachelor for sometime, however, why was my heart hurting after seeing her and Tanner. I don’t know.
Bed, that was my option so after my nightly routine I went to bed. However, when I got to my room I saw a note between my door.I knew it was Shupple but what was in it was even stranger.
Sorry, I have a lot on my mind right now and with some events from today I just needed to go to bed early. Can we talk to each other tomorrow? –Shupple
What could have had change her mind so strangely…wait…maybe Tanner told her everything, that would be my guess so she needed time to think. I couldn’t blame her. I too then slipped a note under her door.

I at least hope the last part will make her smile. She might not appreciate it but I know now how to make her smile and be herself. She really has grown a lot over the last few months and blossomed as well. Arc was lucky to have her.
Once I returned to my room, I hit the hay. It wasn’t the best night I ever had since this was another day wasted and making me feel more like shit then I already did. Stupid Hoom. Stupid Estelle. Damn you women for toying with my emotions. Why should I care, she has Tanner right?
Something was feeling heavy, like a great deal of weight on my chest. Actually it was morning and when I awoke, I found the cause of that great deal of weight with two giant kitty eyes and a cat grin staring at me 2 inches from my face.
“Nya????”
