Obviously that Cha Chat Slide was very unique and fun and once done I was a bit parched and needed a drink. I suppose I just wasn’t thirsty but I was stressed in more ways then one. Sitting there I watched Kiki go up to the stage and began singing, which was followed by Xio coming from the crowd to join her. The song was simply impressive and made me envy why such as asshole like him even had a woman by his side. Damn these lights were so bright.

I put my black shades back down and continued to drink.

I felt a small tap on my shoulder and I turned to see Mist standing there, “Hey Lux, I hope I’m not bothering you...”

I smiled, “Don’t worry Mist. What do you need?”

She covered her yawning mouth with a hand “I’m sorry. I was wondering if you could take me to see where I can rest a bit without being in someone’s way..”

“Sure!” I waved my hand to follow me and lead her to the girl’s part of the mansion. I grabbed her stuff that was sitting outside the hall and lead her to the room in silence. Actually I felt she probably wanted to be in a dark room and the room next to Shupple’s was available and hell two ghosts would love to go through walls to have girl talk I bet. Yeah that might be good for both of them. I’m three steps ahead. “You can stay here if you’d like.” I told her pushing the door open for the lovely lady.

“Are you sure I can?” She asked, I bet she thought she was not welcomed.

“Don’t worry, it’s fine!” I smiled at her, checking my glasses.

She walked in silently like any new comer did entering a room and looked around. What she said next caught me off guard. “This may be sudden... but really, if you need anything, if I could be an help, I’ll be here ok?”

I’ll admit I was shaken from that.

“You can hide your emotions as best as you can, but I can see through others like glass...” She said turning her head a bit. So she could tell what I was feeling? Was I not hiding it well enough? Then again, ghosts are more susceptible to reading people then any other. However, she quickly reached into her bag and pulled out a berry, giving it to me “Here, take this. It will make you feel a bit better…Sorry again!!” She said slamming the door right there.

It was a sitrus berry, it had been awhile since I saw one and for that matter had one. Ever since I moved into this place, I didn’t have to worry about finding my own food and such, or living off the land. That was sweet of her.

I smiled and tucked the berry into my pocket and went back to the dance room but as I approached the ballroom I turned to look behind me, I could have sworn someone was following me. Maybe it was my mistake? I shook it off and went back in but I heard a vase fall and turned once again. Still no one? Maybe Mist was playing a prank on me now? Geez those ghost types have a strange sense of humor.

Everyone was slow dancing with each other and a rather odd couple was on stage singing, Haxlia and Luca….I thought Xio was with Haxlia and Luca….holy god….I hate drama and triangles and threesomes and foursomes and HOLY MOTHER OF LUGIA!!! Are they all swingers and like to sleep each other’s partners??? Kiki doesn’t seem like that but the others….I wouldn’t put it past them.

Then the warmth of a hand grabbed mine as I look down at a beautiful Shupple, “Lux you should go and sing. Most of us have already done so.”

“Even you and Arc?” She nodded from my question and I shook my fist, “DAMN and here I was hoping to howl at the moon from his terrible singing.”

That’s when I felt weight on my head as my knees bent and that stupid mutt was using my head as a arm stool, “Who were you going to howl at?” Arc grinned.

I glared at him as he became even heavier and Shupple continued to giggle. Stupid dog was the same height at me and was teasing me…fine two can play at that game. “Oh only at your sexy ass!” I winked at him and gave him the feminine tone. I shook him off and grabbed his arms, “You are such a pretty puppy I couldn’t resist you!” I gave his butt a squeeze and laughed as I wrapped the other arm around his neck and leaned in close to him showing a loving intent towards him.

His tail wagged as his eyes shifted from side to side, “Are we going to play this way my dear kitty?” Gah he was doing a female tone too.

“Are you both okay? Drunk?” Shupple questioned.

“Not yet my beloved Shuppy! Later most likely! I just wanted to become even more gay then Glyph and Rai!” I twirled Arc and began doing a march with him forward.

“Your beloved?” As we began to a salsa dance together, “She is my girlfriend…” He ran his finger across my chin….I wanted to puke so badly but I went with it.

“Not for long…but good cover up!” I twirled him and clapped my hands twice as we do the mambo side to side. Kick up, slide to the left, toe toe, hips side to side and butt circling with sexy tails swinging.

“You really should let the man take the lead Lux.”

"Are you calling me a woman?" I did a spin in front of him and stuck out a tongue.

"Who me?" Bastard was so getting on my nerves. But then he grabbed my hands; his grip on my hands were so tight I lost balance and before I knew it I was in the air spinning and then dipped. THE HELL was that?!?!

“AND CUT!!!” Shupple stated.

I looked up from Arc’s dip and he lifted me up as went in and curled up across his chest. “Oh Arc….oh Arc…you are such a great dancer…”

That’s when I felt a strong squeeze on my glut as he whispered in my ear, “Firm…just how I like it!”

“You realize I am taking photos of this guys? Right?” Shupple mentioned and with a second to think we both instantly pushed the other away. “Hmm…this is going my my scrapbook…”

I pointed at the camera even more flustered then ever, “BURN THOSE PHOTOS if they are developed boy!”

“Pfft why not just fry them if you can do it?” Arc asked fixing his jacket who too was a bit blushed.

“Meh….too lazy…” I rubbed the back of my head and laughed,

"You two should kiss!" Shupple pointed out.

We both spoke at once, "NOT HAPPENING!"

“So I really missed it? Sorry.” I can't believe I missed it.

“You should go up there, besides you could ask someone to sing with you!” Shupple insisted.

I looked at the stage with a blank stare and said nothing more.

“Lux?”

I kind of forgot Shupple was standing there as I left Arc and her together as I too took the stage for the first time tonight. My night has surely been a roller coaster of emotions with the Tanner situation, but in my heart I wanted to release all that.

Before I knew it the entire room grew quiet as I stood there forgetting where I was and realizing I was in front of the mic.

I lifted it up a bit to my height and spoke into it, “Good evening everyone. Haha I hope everyone is having fun?”

The room cheered with clapping and people raising their glasses. My eyes narrowed but softened as I took a deep breath. “I know many of you have sang songs tonight with others for fun, for love, for companionship and so forth. All of you are amazing gijinkas in your own ways so I am going to slow things down a bit so please feel free to slow dance with the one you love.”

I went over the music station and pushed play on a song that I desired to sing, “This song goes out to a very special someone out there tonight. I only wish she could hear it because she means the world to me.” I sighed.

The music began as I held onto the microphone…

I smiled as I saw Shupple dancing with Arc as she looked over her shoulder, she appeared concerned but smiled at me when our eyes met. Delin was holding onto Damaris very close as they slow danced, and Kiki and Xio were together as she had her head on his chest. I noticed Glyph, Rai, Nyarth and some new looking guy, a Dustox sitting together as they watched.

“Damn, damn girl you do it well

Looking at the crowd dancing before me, I could have sworn Estelle’s scent was still in the room. Odd....I didn't smell it before...

I closed my eyes and poured out the rest in the next few lines…

I shook a bit holding the microphone as I looked up to see a silhouette of Estelle near the door. Maybe I was seeing things.

The music slowly softened as the lights dimmed. The crowd stopped dancing and applauded but when my gaze went back to that door where I thought I saw Estelle, the door had shut. I was definitely seeing things....or was I?

I got one more post for Lux before anything but at least a few new people and can start posts and move on. I hope this was okay. I was trying to be creative and break a writers block lol. xD I enjoyed the Arc and Lux trying to beat Rai and Glyph moments lol.

Aww my poor Luxy is still in wove with Estelle…and he confessed!!!! Sorta…lol…what will happen now? I have no idea!!! 8D But it shall be grand!
