Hungry...hungry...tired....tired.....cold?..Yes..*sighs*

These stairs seemed so long, and no, I wasn't being lazy. They were long, and I was tired, but that didn't mean I was complaining.. or did it? It couldn't count unless I was verbally telling it to someone, and as far as I knew, there was no one on these ram-shackled stairs anyway. I swear they would crumble any minute now, or maybe I was just being paranoid? It didn't matter much though, because somehow I was still completely calm. How? I really don't know..Other than over thinking my possible death by falling down or being crushed under these bricks, there was a loud commotion coming from the kitchen area, and not only that, but most areas of this mansion THAT I had yet to fully see.

I knew I would have to eventually exchange words with the boss of this place and the loud orders I was constantly hearing must've been from her. She seemed occupied at the moment though, so I didn't want to bother her or her victims. I continued up the dreadful stairs, hoping to get some rest when I reached the top of this so called haven, when suddenly I heard a scream from behind me.

"HELP! PLEASE!" I heard a young female's voice call. When I turned around, I noticed it was a Kirlia. She was holding someone up, someone familiar.

"Roselyn!" I called out, recognizing the green hair and neck bandages. To be honest, her pretty face wasn't hard to forget either. I explained to the Kirlia that I would take care of it, and she handed the Roselia over to me. With a smile, I nodded my head, a last minute reassurance to the Kirlia and gently carried Rosie up the stairs. Estelle and Kiki led me to Rosie's room and I quickly entered, placing her on her bed. It was the least I could do for her helping me out earlier. If I had known she was like this earlier, I would've had her come to the mansion with me. The other girls went back downstairs, so I decided to stay with Rosie until I knew she would be OK.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS????!!! WHO THE HELL LEFT SHOPPING BAGS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAIRS???!!!" I heard from way up here. I could hear Kiki and who I thought was most likely the boss; someone had gotten in trouble, which made me chuckle lightly thinking about all that ruckus downstairs. This place was sure going to be interesting.

I didn't let that bother me too much, though, and decided to pull a chair up to Roselyn's bed, where I turned it backward and sat so I could rest my arms over the top of the chair. My eyes shut and I tried to relax for a bit, but suddenly I felt a grip on my pants. As I opened my eyes I could see Rosie looking up at me.

"Are you alright?" I asked her. I knew she wasn't, so there was no point in her trying to play it off, but I could see that she didn't want to be a burden to me.

"I'm fine," She assured me with a smile. I smiled back even though I knew she wasn't fine.

Then she told me about these 'Starf' berries? What were starf berries? When she asked me if I would be so kind as to get some for her, I felt a bit of reluctance. Would she be alright if I just left to go find them? I internally sighed but smiled once again and nodded. I couldn't just stay there if she didn't want to be a bother. As I left the room, I noticed a Dark Luxray. It wasn't light in the hall, so I couldn't make out his condition much, but he didn't say a word to me, so I hid my concern and smiled, heading down the stairs once again. Those damn stairs.....

There was already a group of people cleaning and I would have offered to help, but I needed to find those berries. Before the Lopunny could find me and get me to work, even though I was perfectly willing to help, I exited the mansion. Bad idea...

It was raining... I hated rain. I hated being wet, with the exception of showering. Not only that, but it was cold rain. I was going to regret doing this, but I had a task to take care of. I kind of hoped it would start thundering.. Odd though, huh? Considering I didn't like rain. But the sound of thunder and seeing bright lightning always seems to calm me down. The sky was darkening, shades of gray mixed with the last bit of blue, and soon enough everything was cast over with a dark shadow. The whole scene was gloomy and depressing, yet I found myself smiling at it. I swear I over think things..

Pulling my hood over my head, I started off in my search for starf berries. Sounded like an epic journey, didn't it? Not exactly. As fast as I started off at first, I gradually began to slow down the more drenched I became. My hood eventually slid back, revealing my head to the sky and allowing my hair to get soaked and stick to my face and neck in places. By then, I wasn't going to pull my hood back on, it was already soaked.

There was a Glaceon up ahead, and from what I could see, he was just standing, staring up the sky. No jacket or hood, so I guess that meant he liked the cold weather. Obvious, since he was a Glaceon Gijinka.. Maybe he could help me..

Before I could even call out for him, I felt a sharp pain in my head. I hadn't taken any stabilizers since yesterday and it was starting to take a toll on my body. I shook my head of those thoughts, it wasn't time to shut down yet. "Hey!" I called out to him. He seemed surprised and turned around, his face wet and hair drenched like mine. "Can you help me?" I asked him as I stepped closer.

"Usually people ask for names first," he replied with a light laugh. Calm fellow, that was good, and with a sense of humor no less, even better! I always disliked really serious people. I smiled and chuckled nervously even though my body was aching tremendously, it didn't help that I started to shiver. Not so much, thankfully, because I didn't want it to be noticed. There was this cold aura around the Glaceon; icy and piercing.

"My apologies, where are my manners? I'm Arc," I said, introducing myself and shaking his hand. His hand is freezing..

"Gil," he replied kindly. Though he sounded calm, there was a look in his eyes that told me he had been stressed out over something. A fight maybe.. but it wasn't my business, so I didn't really ask. "It's nice to meet you!" Whatever it was that was bothering him, maybe helping me would take his mind off things, whatever those things were.

"There's this girl who's sick, and she asked me to get her some 'Starf' berries," I began to explain to him. He listened attentively so I was glad I had his attention. "I have no idea where to look for them... so would you be kind enough to help me?"

He didn't take much time to think it over. Instead he just nodded his head. "Yeah, I'll help!" He said, with a smile. He really must want to get his mind of something..

"I'm pretty sure there are some this way," He told me, gesturing me with his hand to follow him. I nodded and thanked him, then followed. I don't know how far we walked, considering I was having trouble keeping myself together.

Hey!.....Hey!....Arc!..

"Huh?" I suddenly blinked a few times, shaking my head. "Oh..sorry. What is it?" I asked him. He raised a brow, probably because I should've been able to tell that we made it to the area.

"We're here," He said, chuckling lightly. I smiled sheepishly at that.

"Oh..right. Thanks!"

We started picking berries from these small bushes. I stuffed most of them into my jacket pocket, since I didn't bring a bag with me. For someone who over thinks, that was a pretty dull move..*sigh*

"Hey! Hey, Arc! You didn't touch the berries with your hands did you!?" Gil, asked me suddenly.

I raised a brow at him and looked at my hands, curiously. "Uh..well, yes. Why? Is there something wrong with them?" Should I have started panicking?

"They're poisonous! You'll be itching for weeks and get rashes everywhere!" He said.

"What!?" I shouted, looking down at my hands. He couldn't be serious..

"Yeah, and then you'll grow another head, and tentacles," he added, laughing. I shook my head and chuckled.

"Hah, hah. Very funny, Gil. You had me for a second there," I said, nudging him lightly before getting back to the berry picking. We got what I thought would be enough, just a couple handfuls. Then he led me back to town.

"Thanks for the help," I told him, then for fun- "I'll be sure to let you know when I grow another head and tentacles."

He laughed and nodded his head. "I'll be sure to make money off that!" He joked, then turned and walked off. "Later!" Good guy..

Before I could get back to the mansion, there was one thing I had to take care of. I ,inconspicuously, headed into an alley and took off my jacket, then shook my head and tail to try and shake off the water. It was still raining, but it was a force of habit to shake off water when I was wet. I would have gone into a restaurant, but I probably would've been mistaken for a junkie and be kicked out.

"Now..where is it.." I patted my jacket until I could feel a small pouch. Pulling it out, I unzipped it and extracted a syringe filled with a dark liquid. After, I injected it into a spot on my neck, wincing slightly, then pulled it out once the capsule was empty. The back of my head rested against the cold brick wall behind me for a few minutes, while I let the medicine take its course through my bloodstream. Once the effects kicked in, I pulled on my jacket and hid the pouch in my jacket pocket before heading back to the mansion. I could feel a surge of energy and warmth returning to me, thankfully.

This time I was able to use extreme speed, since I had regained most of the energy lost a while ago. By the time I made it back to Rosie's room, I noticed I wasn't alone. "I'm back.." I said, with a smile, noticing her eyes flutter open. I wasn't going to stay long. Just give her the berries and make sure she drank whatever she had to, then I'd leave. There was someone else in her room too..

Ehh...I rushed it a bit..>_>; Hope it's okay though! And I hope I got Gil right lol

No, Arc's not a druggie, if anybodies thinking that xD

I would say this is a few hours after Arc left Rosie's room. Possibly early morning now, or midnight...I guess....XD
