"You wake up and you don't know where you are, what time it is, how long you've been out, what happened to you last,and everything is different. the people you love are gone or changed, the things you could rely on are erased, the world you knew not only does not exist, but didn't seem to really ever exist. You just woke up from a dream to find that everything until now was the dream. Think Sydney Bristow at the end of season two of Alias waking up in Hong Kong, think the beginning of the Flight of the Navigator, think Adam and Eve morning one out of the garden. This song is not about the journey home, but it is about fixing your eyes to home. It is about standing up and taking the first step."
—David Hodges
yesterday i died (to my old life)
tomorrow's bleeding (it's not going to be easy)
fall into your sunlight (but it's totally worth it)
A long with David Hodges' quote about this song, I believe he wanted to dedicate it all who have been depressed or felt like everything was gone in their life. When you feel useless to the world and you basically want to give up; you don't care anymore. However, God is the sunlight. No matter if people leave you in the dust or even if you lose yourself, there is always God's faith that will be there to help you. We all at times reject God or feel strange to believe in him, I know I am one of those people.
But it doesn't matter....God will always be waiting for you to come back to him. Always waiting patiently. He will help you get through anything and guide you to those who can as well. Never give up.
Please listen to this song. Lyrics are under the video. Thank you.

Lyrics:
Yesterday I died; tomorrow's bleeding
Fall into your sunlight
The future's open wide beyond believing
To know why hope dies
And losing what was found, a world so hollow
Suspended in a compromise
But the silence of this sound is soon to follow
Somehow sundown
And finding answers
Is forgetting all of the questions we call home
Passing the graves of the unknown
As reason clouds my eyes with splendor fading
Illusions of the sunlight
A reflection of a lie will keep me waiting
With love gone for so long
And this day's ending
Is the proof of time killing all the faith I know
Knowing that faith is all I hold
And I've lost who I am, (i'm waiting)
and I can't understand (and fading)
Why my heart is so broken, (and holding)
rejecting your love, (love) without, (onto these tears)
love gone wrong; lifeless words carry on (i am crying)
But I know, all I know's that the end's beginning (i'm dying tonight)
who I am from the start, (i'm waiting)
take me home to my heart (and fading)
Let me go and I will run, (and holding)
I will not be silent, (silent) all this time (onto these tears)
spent in vain; wasted years wasted gain (i am crying)
All is lost but hope remains and this war's not over (i'm dying tonight)
There's a light, there's a sun (i'm waiting...)
taking all these shattered ones
To the place we belong (i am waiting...)
and his love will conquer all
Yesterday I died; tomorrow's bleeding
Fall into your sunlight

Woot, my first guest post on this most wonderful World!^-^ I am happy to say that I finally found enough positivity to be able to contribute, and I am sure that some of that is due to reading all these positive posts^^ So here is what I have to say about something that really helps to make you happy - and not only you^^
~~~~~
Imagine - one of your friends (whether online or in real life) is going through very hard times. Reading or hearing their stories full of sadness is breaking your heart, but you feel like you cannot do anything to help. Well, you can!^^ Perhaps you can't directly solve whatever problems there are, but there are always little things you can do.
'It's the little things in life...' - exactly!^^ I have found out that what really helps most of the times is to show just a little love and care You could draw your friend a nice little giftie, for example, or send them a card!^^ Because if you see they appreciate it and get happier, you yourself will get a feeling you've done something good, and therefore be happier yourself!
And of course, you don't have to wait until someone is going through hard times in order to do something like this, you can do it all the time!
~~~~~
I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope I contributed to someone's positivity!:3
Hello everyone ^^ this is chibi-anna-chan *smiles* I read this little story on TheDarkAngel's world ^^ I thought i'd share it with people here too...
Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.
I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.
As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.
The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker 's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on.. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.
The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, "I know why".
Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.
He said, "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?"
The Six-year-old continued, "Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long".
Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly.
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
+ When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
+ Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
+ Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
+ Take naps.
+ Stretch before rising.
+ Run, romp, and play daily.
+ Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
+ Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
+ On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
+ On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
+ When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
+ Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
+ Be loyal.
+ Never pretend to be something you're not.
+ If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
+ When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.
Hello dearest positive friends! *huggles & gives you all flowers*
I'm Noelle, a moderator of this wonderful positive world.So I thank my dear friend Meagan/innocent heart for giving me an oppurtunity to post in this positive world. And ...
Hey Hey! =D I did some random acts of kindness the other day.
I was at a anime convention, and this cute girl dressed up in such a beautiful costume was crying and looked so sad. I didnt know what was wrong, and i still dont. I went up to her and asked if she was ok and i told her to not worry about it. She smiled at me with teary eyes and i gave her a big hug =D I dont know what she was sad about, or even her name, but after that i could tell through the smile on her face that I had just made her day =D So if you are reading this adorable girl from the anime convention, I hope you are feeling better.
Kindness is the best thing =D If someone is looking down, cheer them up. Nothing warms peoples hearts by a smile or a pat on the back, or anything like that! =D My thing is that I cannot stand to see people sad, so if I see someone whose sad, even if I know I'll never see them again, I try to do something to cheer them up!
I started that because of something that happened my freshman year in high school. I was very depressed about so many things. My head was spinning and i felt like i could go to sleep and never wake up. One day during the summer i was eating lunch at this really yummy cafe alone. Something had upset me very badly, so i was sitting there with a horrible feeling, and apparently a horrible look on my face. This girl who looked about my age or a little older with the most beautiful black hair and blue eyes you have ever seen came up to me. I had never ever seen her before, and ive never seen her since. She handed me a White Chocolate Mocah coffee and told me to not worry, and that everything would be alright. After giving me the coffee, she gave me a hug and walked out of the cafe.
That changed me, and that simple act of kindness pulled me out of a 3 month depression! =D So ive made it my goal to help people just like she helped me.
Kindness spreads! =D So spread it to each and everyone!
