In other news I'm on Spring Break. Saturday was my aunt's wedding and I had a great time,I was really tired Sunday because of it but I had a great time. At the wedding I was talking to my younger cousin who is also an aspiring artist. I'm kinda impressed at the stuff she's coming up with at her age. When she grows older if she continues this I'm sure she'll be great. It's gotten me inspired again. It couldn't happen at a better time either since I'm on Spring Break now and also because I need to keep improving before I graduate. I have some newer character bios coming up and I'm liking how these came out over the others I did. But whatever they're only there so when I draw scenes with them I can have a bio to point people to so they won't be lost.
Now in my dA journal I mentioned how thegeekfighers is going to die and all that but see, I already made a post about it. See the post before the post that's before this one? The one that says THEGEEKFIGHTERS IS DYING... but that's ok? Please read that when you get the chance.
Lastly want to mention some things about my podcast first, we just started season 3 and I suggest looking at this world which I will update as soon as I'm done posting this. I've been looking for musicians who want to spread their name and let me play some samples of their music and no one has e-mailed me any stuff yet. I also am looking for musicians who think they can make a new theme song for us. As I've said before I don't post about my podcast on my main world unless it's a milestone. Well, this time it's the fact that we just finished our second season this week! Since thegeekfighters.com does NOT have much longer I'm trying to let everybody know, those who are also on theO that go to thegeekfighters to update their bookmarks. The content that's on thegeekfighters, save for a few people who decided not to join us, will now be on reviewtopia.net when it launches. Reviewtopia.net will launch March 18th... or the 17th. *shrugs shoulders*
In other news I just got a letter saying when my graduation is if I pass my classes this semester, which I should and that's awesome. I recently bought All Star Superman and Ong Bak 3. I liked them both, some people had some issues with Ong Bak 3 and I can see where they're coming from, still I found it enjoyable. Fallout New Vegas' add on Dead Money was finally released for PS3 and PC and I... don't have the money to get it. Or rather I don't want to spend $10 on it. After Dead Money was released Bethesda announced that future DLC expansions will NOT be exclusive to 360 and will be released simultaneously for PC and PS3 and gave the names for the following DLC to be released and I have to say the one I'm looking forward to most is Lonesome Road. Go look it up, not much is known about it but the stuff it hints at was enough to get me excited.
Lately I've been having lots of nightmares too. Only recently (as in today) have I not had a nightmare. The last one was especially unnerving. I don't know what's going on with me.
Just thought I'd update you guys, now that I'm on this long weekend (and I'm certain a lot of you are too) with Presidents Day weekend. First thing I want to mention is that I have Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and I really dig it. Like some others I have some issues with the roster "why'd they choose this person over this person" but it's really nothing that holds it back. At the end of the day it's a very fun fighter and it certainly has a lot of love put into it. Except for the endings, for the endings to be just text and pictures on a full priced 60 dollar game that's on powerful systems like the PS3 and Xbox 360 is a shame. A friend of mine (who only owns a Wii mind you) said "I can understand how they can put endings like that on the Wii but not on the PS3 and 360" However I think Tatsunoko Vs Capcom could definitely have video endings too, it's not like the PS2 could have done it, so the Wii definitely could have handled that too. I hope this isn't a trend in Capcom now to skim back on putting content like movies and such. Street Fighter 4 and Super Street Fighter 4 had full animation, there's no reason they couldn't have done it for MvC3. But still it's a good game and there's still a lot of very cool things you can unlock, I still wholeheartedly recommend it.
In other news I got the God Gundam model kit today. I put some pictures on Animesick's Gashapon Universe World I really can't wait to start building this. The kit got some good reviews too, The store I ordered the kit from also gave me a coupon that would take 50%-70% off my next order. That's pretty sweet. It's on orders of $50 or more only but considering you'll take half off of that or more with the coupon it's pretty awesome. I actually ordered through Amazon and not through their site but I won't mind going straight to their site next time.
