update-y

Hey guys! Wow, it's been a while since I was on here, hasn't it? Sorry about that, the last few weeks have been kinda crazy. I actually went to Washington DC last weekend to see my cousin. It was kinda last minute and crazy, but I'm really glad I went. And by the way, if you ever get a chance to go to Chinatown in DC, it's definitely worth checking out.
Things are going okay with my job. Now that it's not the holidays anymore they've stopped scheduling me for, like, million-hour work weeks and gone back to barely scheduling me at all. It's still annoying, but to be honest I hate it there and I'd rather get barely paid than have to spend more time at Staples.
Good news, though, because Bullmoose (which is a chain store in New England that sells records and dvds and books and stuff) is hiring, so I dropped of an application yesterday. I think I've got a good shot at getting the job. I've got a good resume, my current managers like me, and I've got lots of experience working in retail. And working at Bullmoose would be fun because it's not a big corporate franchise, so I wouldn't have to upsell people or pressure them into signing up for crap they don't want like I do now. It's a lot more laid-back. I wouldn't have to wear a dumb uniform, I could wear clothes I like, and they'll probably let me dye my hair weird colors again. So yeah, really hoping this job works out.
I'm slowly getting caught up on all the prizes and requests I've promised people over the past few months. It feels really good to finish things up. It's occurred to me recently that my art uploads are pretty low-res. I cut them down so they fit on the screen and so if someone tries to steal it, it will be too small to really do anything with. But if I made you a drawing and you wanted a higher-res image of it, let me know, and I can send you the original scan. I can also mail people artwork if they wanted the original. A lot of my drawings look nicer IRL, in my opinion.
That's all for now! Hope everybody's having a good day :)
