These days when you mention something like Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, the reaction you’re most likely to get is “Ugh, what rubbish.” Not everyone agrees with that statement, but I do. And I’m going to explain why, using Pokémon as my example. I blame this “rubbish-ness” on four things.
