A Busy Week

Ladies and gentlemen, Styx.

Hello all, long time no post. Just thought I'd let everyone know how I was doing. As the title of this post states, I have a really busy week ahead of me this week. I've got a whole ton of stuff I have to do for my online classes in library science. The one cataloging class I'm taking has two assignments due this week. Well, actually they aren't due until the coming Sunday at 10:00 PM, but I use my Sundays to work on my fanfics. But right now I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the stuff I have to get done.

In other news, it seems that Cartoon Network's Toonami lineup has lost a chunk of its programing block. For those who want the full details on this, CLICK HERE. I have to say though, I don't think this loss is really a major thing. I mean they're only losing shows that have been in reruns for a long time now. Plus this also touches on one big flaw I've had with the entire Toonami concept. Who in their right mind stays up until 4:00 or 5:00 AM to watch anime?

Don't get me wrong, the Toonami lineup makes up a huge chunk of my Saturday nights. But after like 12:00 or 12:30 I'm pretty much in bed. There hasn't been a series in that lineup I've been willing to stay up until 1:30 or 2:00 AM since Sword Art Online (and staying up to watch that series meant enduring several episodes of One Piece). Plus let's be honest here, there are better ways out there to watch anime, like Netflix and Crunchyroll (which I've been wanting to try but haven't because I don't know if it's free or not). Heck, even Youtube has its share of anime shows running on it, and all of the services I've mentioned allows anyone to watch anime at any time they want.

So in summation, I'm feeling overwhelmed and Toonami is getting smaller. Until next time.
