I make this post as a call for help to all wallpaper artists here on TheO. All evening I've been working on this new wallpaper I came up with and I'm pretty stuck on it. Here's the WIP version for everyone to see.
So the part I'm stuck on is what to do about the part of the background that's currently that blue area. It needs to have something other than a single color, like some buildings or parked cars in the distance. But I'm at a total loss as to where to find a scan like that or what another suitable alternative could be. In fact I've ended up giving myself a migraine over trying to figure this out, so unfortunately any more work on my current GX fanfic won't be happening tonight. So if anyone has some suggestions about what to do about this wallpaper, I'll be more than happy to hear them. Thanks.
UPDATE: I just checked Minitokyo again and figured out a background scan that seemed to work. So the situation sort of resolved itself. Of course I should be getting dressed right now instead of trying to work on a wallpaper (and update this post), but I just can't let this project go. One of the traits I inherited from my late mother is that I obsess about stuff. I actually see that as both a good trait and a bad one. The bad part of it is it causes me to get worked up and at times frustrated like it has with this wallpaper. The good part of it though is that it gives me the singleminded resolve to solve problems and finish things like stories and other creative endeavors.
