Creative Slump

Hello again everyone. Just thought I'd do another post to let everyone know how I'm doing. For the most part I'm doing okay, but I seem to have found myself in a creative slump. Well… I guess that's not entirely true, actually. For the last month I've been developing the details for this one Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V fanfic that I eventually plan to do. But that story is far from getting off the ground. Meanwhile, when it comes to the other big stories I've got going on FanFiction.Net, I've come down with a major case of writer's block. It hasn't helped that I haven't been able to do any actual writing for the last month or so. After I finished this one GX fanfic back in September, I was buried by this avalanche of stuff I needed to do for my current online class, which involves an internship. On top of that, I ended up having to prepare for two job interviews (and I'm still waiting to hear back about the one job I interviewed for).

Fortunately, things seemed to have finally settled down a little bit. So I thought I'd at least try and get back into writing by doing a simple one-shot. Unfortunately, I have been coming up with zero ideas (well, zero good ideas anyway). Maybe I'm just trying too hard to come up with ideas. Then again, I've often wondered if I'm still capable of doing one-shots anymore. It's like every story I write turns into this big multi-chapter project. Of course that's not necessarily a bad thing, I guess.

I think that pretty much covers it for this post. I could go into how impossible it's been for me to make wallpapers, but I've already ranted about that in my previous posts. I'm sure very few people with to read a repeat of that. In fact I may delete this post later, since it kind of seems like nobody's interested in my writing difficulties all that much either. Until next time.
