ROLES

Player
Those participating in the Game to try to win a second chance at life. Will complete missions and walls, be given a customized set of pins for battle, and shop for powerups to aid in fights against Noise! Each Player will find a Partner, someone that they will team up with throughout the course of the roleplay. If your Partner gets Erased, so do you after 7 minutes!
In order to participate, a Player loses whatever they value most as their entry fee, and the only way it is restored is by winning. As a Player, you are expected to go through character development. The point of the Game is to change and prove why you deserve another chance, and you can't do that if you refuse to grow! If your character makes it to the end without much change, they run the risk of being erased despite winning.

Harrier Reaper
Essentially the Reaper counterpart to Players! Harrier Reapers are in charge of battles. Instead of pins, they fight with Noise. Requires a bit of creativity, because while Players have their signature pins and weapons, Harriers will be fighting with different Noise during every battle!
Harrier Reapers are required to erase a pair of Players by the end of the Game. If unsuccessful, they will be erased.

Support Reaper
A biiit different than the other two roles! Support Reapers have a more passive role in the Game. They man walls, creating the criteria needed to pass them and move on in the mission. Beyond this, they also keep track of stats during battles! Again, this role requires some creativity because each wall should be unique--but you'll have others to help you out! If you choose this role, you will be trained on how to keep track of battle stats.
Support Reapers are required to support at least one battle or man one wall each "day". If unsuccessful, they will be erased.

Regardless of type, on Day 6, Reapers are allowed to attack Players directly with their own set of pins or as their Noise form if they have one (at the risk of their own Erasure!). Furthermore, Reapers get a bit more information on things that are going on plot-wise, so if you don't like being completely in the dark, then consider these roles! Once accepted into the Reaper family, you'll be added to a special Skype group (or the password to a Chatzy room, depending on everyone's Skype accessibility-) that will be used by Reapers during the roleplay!

Officer Reaper [1 Optional slot unless Player count exceeds 10, in which case I WILL need someone]
Higher up on the Reaper totem pole, Officers can give orders to grunt Reapers, and make sure that rules are being followed. For this RP, you would essentially be working as a moderator! Your duties would include enforcing RP rules in the chat and helping out with keeping track of stuff in the archive World. Officers will receive the perk of having the inside scoop on all of the plot happenings, and would help these events run smoothly to the best of their ability. This role is optional due to the fact that I can most likely handle everything by myself! It would just be nice to have an extra hand, y'know? ;A;
If you are interested in being a moderator, but wish to play as a Player, let me know! We can make it work. Heck, it might even be better to have someone on the Player side keeping people focused during missions.

ROLES YOU CAN'T HAVE:
These are main moderator roles, and will be handled by me. IF this RP is successful and I run subsequent sessions, GM and Conductor will become open roles that you can apply for!

Game Master
The GM is an Officer Reaper who decides on the Game's missions for that Week, and tests the Players come Day 7. While traditionally they typically remain unseen until late in the week, our GM will have a more active role.

Conductor
The Conductor is the Reaper second-in-command to the Composer. They are typically in charge of giving orders to Reapers and speaking on the behalf of the Composer, as well as making sure that UG rules are being followed. A pretty mysterious entity, even in this RP, they typically enjoy running around as a mass of static rather than a human form.

Composer
At the (almost) top of the UG hierarchy, the Composer is the one who runs the Game, creating the rules for their respective district. The Composer is the one who has the power to reincarnate victorious Players, and monitors the stability of their UG. Again, traditionally/canonically the Composer typically remains unseen (by even other Reapers) at all times. Our Composer, however, likes to pop in from time to time, and will be running the Game's shop (unless I make a new shopkeeper between now and the time we start-)
