This world is my reflection on: my art and other items that spark my interest (including some of my characters)

I've seem to have taken up a rabbit monarch persona.

ME Trivia!
♦ Despite having a lot of things to say, I'm afraid of sounding rude, blah, or insincere on the internet.
♦ Since 2009, I've developed a strong affection for Red Crowned Cranes; a larger species of crane, currently considered "Rare" and "Endangered" due to loss of habitat in regions of China . I want to travel to Hokkaido in the early spring to see the birds!

I will post any links to direct character posts here:|Rehi|

Wrapping up August & a bit on The Boy and the Crane

Here is the deal: I have 3 studio art classes that take up Mon-Thrusday with sometime needed for outside work on projects (Jewerly (metalsmithing) and 3D sculpture). All i've got to work with is the house laptop. Digital art is being reduced to me touching on current pieces and doodles (which isn't anything new, actually) and I've recently forced myself back into practice writing with roleplaying :P, we'll see how that goes.

I have four pages of The Boy and The Crane which I intend to post together when they're finished and that will not be anytime soon with my amount of concentration on individual art projects. Ugh!
I want to so badly be ahead of where I am! I've got canon-character cameos and jokesssssss and up to page 84 scribbled out on thumbnails! Waaaah! I need to make myself focus on those pages if I want to get to the good stuff! The LAST thing I want to do is post the script/story to fill in what I can't finish! BUT I WILL FINISH THIS 1...2.3- um... 30-ish (maybe more, not including the bonus content) chapter story!
I'd like to try create story-oriented character art. The trick is to avoid what I feel would be spoiler and think about what sort of details I wouldn't mind making known outside of the story (i.e important side/plot characters & Kiippon's family; except his mother, the status/identity of her will be secret for now...).

Meh...
have a Kiippon at the end of a comic I've been meaning to share; about his hair

9 Years

So, July 31st marks the 9th year I've been apart of the Deviantart Community and likewise, I've all ready hit the 9th year mark for TheOtaku!

[49 Watchers on dA. Yay~ I only wish they made themselves known more though. ._ . Then I coulda' drawn stuff they actually would like to see.]

Secret Character #1

Holy jeeps, my heart is pounding- I am dreading posting this, but I really want to! D:
OKAY. I am being incredibly brave posting this character- as he has finally made his over-due appearance last October. He's recently been occurring more and more in my art.

I've held onto this character nearly the past 10 years and during that time, I've numerously recreated his story, his personality, and his design. [I even have a design evolution chart hidden among my files~]
I've kept him hidden mostly because his very reason may create a severe misunderstanding when it comes down to portraying some of my characters as something they're not (sues with a sole purpose), which is not the truth....

Horyƫ is simply a bi-product of curiosity, a design, and he continues to exist in my art for the exploration of many characters and to challenge myself to think of how the hardest of shells could dare to behave somewhat canon-ly in rather un-canon situations.

It took years for me to find a way to have him work.

I dream of sharing glimpses of Horyƫ and a little-known part of my imagination- but to avoid being viewed as a hypocrite [once certain opinions are disclosed], I doubt really will.

Yet, all I need is courage and understanding.

...ya' know, I feel like his design can adapt for many other things. But his initial purpose does serve some as inspiration for art.

Potential Stream Soon

June 14th, 2016

Is anyone at all interested in possibly watching? I use Picarto.

I usually just throw a post up, if not schedualed or anything.

So, you just walk in and sit there- it's very guest friendly
https://picarto.tv/BunnyMonarchy

To know whether or not I might have any viewers will be great and may even help me configure an actual schedule.

If you're interested, you can also check out my Tumblr- as I usually post when I decide to randomly do streams. http://bunnymonarchy.tumblr.com/
+ I usually post art [mine that doesn't show here and reblog others], art tips, and other goodies

I REALLY appreciate ghost viewers; it's great for busy nights when a lot of users are on Picarto.

I live within the US Central timezone.

Huh...

Are all of these flashy ads pasted on the page constantly threatening to crash anyone else's Shockwave?

Yeah, theOtaku needs ads to survive, but having to reload theOtaku+Pandora because Shockwave crashed is getting ridiculous....

Also.
I've noticed... my scribblies sketch pieces are getting better feedback than my full stuff.
No, no , that's not a bad thing. It's kinda' of a good thing, sketchy works with soft colorings are my favorite thing to do. Favorite. However, I don't post a lot of sketchy works because I am concerned that they're just not interesting, look half-assed, or hard to read.
....i had the same issue in the college art course I finished recently, but those who commented said they have a "completed" feel to it- and I'm like "Okay! Cool!" still looks like a half-assed tree though

Any opinions?
