Wikipedia:
The tale of Elemental Gelade (originally called Erementar Gerad in the Japanese) is set in the world of Guardia where beings called Edel Raids co-exist with humans. Edel Raids have the ability to fuse with a human and become a living weapon. The story focuses on the adventures of a young sky pirate named Cou Van Giruet, an Edel Raid named Reverie Metherlance or Ren as she prefers to be called, and three guardians of an Edel Raid protection organization called Arc Aile named Cisqua, Rowen, and Kuea. Reverie Metherlance is set on journeying to the legendary land of gold called Edel Garden, but it turns out that she is a powerful and rare Edel Raid called the shichikouhouji which leads to many villains attempting to kidnap her for themselves.

My rating: 4.2/5
I absolutely adored this anime. The characters were cute, and I loved the chibi versions of themselves they sometimes turned into. Cou and Ren were fun to watch together, what with the usual embarrassment of being around the person you like, there’s bound to be a few hilarious moments. I did get a little annoyed that it took so long for them to get together, but then again it takes longer for characters in other anime to get together, so in reality because the series only had 26 episodes, it came around pretty fast.
I have to say Cisqua and Kuea were the characters I loved most though. All most everything they did had me giggling. What with Cisqua pulling out her weapons to solve any problem, randomly beating up Cou and just being kick ass, and Kuea who is a bottomless pit when it comes to food ((I think she even contemplated eating one of the people once when she was hungry XD))
And, like most anime, it also has its sad parts. Back stories and the death of a character that I had grown to love </3 the group being separated and the truth which I won’t reveal to you >:3
I watched the dub, so I can’t tell you anything about the sub voices, but I have to say the dub made a pretty good choice on who they chose. The voices were good, and there was probably one character where I thought ‘Y U NO choose someone else???’ I mean c’mon! Ren is Rin from Inuyasha. Rin people! ((Actually a lot of the characters have played a role in Inuyasha .-.))
Again the animation was decent, not high quality and all that, but the anatomy and all was great! I absolutely hate off anatomy and squiggle fingers!!! Grrr!!
Inu definitely recommends ^^
