Yuuta diverted the question to save the twins from having to answer by pointing out we were finally at the hotel. Looking up, I saw we weren't in front of some common old hotel. This was like a huge mansion! Raine and I stared in awe.
Sure our parents had had money, but not like this. We had never stayed in anything this nice.
Raine's mouth dropped open, "This is where we will be staying?" she asked in awe.
Yuuta and Kaori nodded as if it wasn't a big deal. I wondered what their parents did to afford such a place as this. Whatever it was made more money then I cared to even think about.
Raine was talking non stop again to Yuuta about how nice of a place this was. Poor guy, I felt bad that he had to put up my sister's niaveness, but better him than me. I chuckled to myself. I loved Raine to death, but she could get on peoples' nerves without even realizing it.
Yuuta and Kaori led us inside where Caleb greeted us with a smile.
"What do you do on the weekends for fun?" Raine gushed. I stopped short, I can't tell her what I do on weekends, its confidential. I smiled a bit.
"Enough about me." I said. She started rambling about herself. I wasn't really paying attention but replied a bit with 'ah's and the sort. I can't bring anyone into this world, not anyone else. This is my world, my burden, my hell, not anyone else's. Her rambling stopped and she had an unhappy look on her face.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"What?" she asked, blinking. Obviously confused.
"You had a very unhappy look on your face all of a sudden," I informed her. She blushed.
"I was just a little lost in thought." she answered. I wasn't going to pry for a better answer,no need. She continued rambling and I continued answering what I could. Suddenly my ears perked up and heard Kaori speak.
"Tell you what?" she asked suddenly. My attention was on her. She was still very agitated.
"Um.." one of the twins answered.
"Let's get going!Caleb is waiting!" I called. Caleb was the manager of the hotel.
~Yuuta Isamu
"Really?" I gushed, "That is so cool!" I smiled innocently at Yuuta. "What do you do on the weekends for fun?"
He stopped short, smiled, and said, "Enough about me."
Oh, he was one of those guys. The let's-not-talk-about-me-let's-talk-about-you kind. But as I started talking a little about myself, I found he seemed to not really care about what I did for fun or what kind of movies I liked. He was like a puzzle, and i was going to figure out what kind of guy he was.
Quit acting like a bimbo, you are embarrassing yourself, Axel told me with disgust in his voice. He is obviously not crushing on you like that!
I frowned, Shut up! What do you know? I can try can't I?
Axel sighed, Don't say I didn't warn you!
"What's wrong?" Yuuta asked me suddenly, breaking Axel's and my connection we had going.
I blinked, "What?" I really didn't know what he was talking about.
"You had a very unhappy look on your face all of a sudden," he informed me.
"Oh, did I?" I asked, my cheeks turning red from embarrassment. Usually I was good at not letting the emotions out like that. "I was just a little lost in thought."
Lost in something all right- but not in thought, Axel sneered.
Yuuta seemed to except the answer and we kept going.
"Tell you what?" Koari asked suddenly. I had heard the two girls whispering to each other about the cold. What were they hiding?
~Trinity~
I blinked when Koari said she would take us to a new home. I looked at Trinix and her hair looked like a black hole with purple streaks in it.
"Bakas bakas bakas!" she mumbled. I put my hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
"Calm down Trinix. Do you really want to use up your energy before you can start working again?" I asked her. She sighed knowing what I was talking about. Trinix was a vampire hunter. Well actually she was still an apprentice.
`Trinix`
I shook Trinity's hand off my shoulder and crossed my arms around myself. It was starting to get cold out here.
"Hey! Can we get somewhere warm? It's feels so freakin cold out here!" I said. Trinity blinked then her eyes widened.
"Dear god Trinity don't tell me," I said.
"Tell you what?" Koari asked.
The girl, whom Yuuta seemed to be a little nervous around, said that she was going to bring us to our new home.
I frowned, "How do we know we can trust you? I mean we only just met," I asked. Raine gave me a dirty look, like I was looking a gift-horse in the mouth.
Kaori frowned, "I'm not asking you to trust me. Do what you want. Its not like I'm forcing you to go."
Raine nodded, looking at me I want to go! Besides, we can always leave at any time if it gets uncomfortable our if something happens, She said telepathically.
Ya I guess, I relented telepathically. I followed Raine as she bound to the front of the group to talk to Yuuta, asking him all kinds of questions. I had a feeling she was crushing alittle on him. Raine always did fall for guys way too fast, but she was a very trusting person.
Quit flirting! I told her.
Her demeaner never changed as she finished her conversation with Yuuta before replying to me, IT's not flirting when you talk to a guy, is it? You talk to plenty of girls, is that flirting?
I shook my head, there was no getting through to her.
