I have seen many things in my life, but this was different. Her eyes and her look... What was her name? If I remember correctly from the conversation that Veronica had with them, her name is Floria... Floria, such a stupid name. It reminds me on angels. But still... There was something in her that made me different... It was something, like love...
Ugh, love... I don't need such a thing and especially with the likes of her. That is impossible and I don't want to even think about it. Soon, I will be become the main ruler of both clans, soon. And when that comes I shall do what ever I wanted. To finally activate the... At that moment I saw that Devion was coming towards me. He was running fast and caring something. What was that?
"Sir Merlox, I have gained this letter from the Fox. He instructed that we soon need to have a meeting of all the clans." Devion at moment looked at me a little nervous. He remembered that I haven't told him yet about the recent actions. I looked at him and smirked.
"Listen, Devion. Tell me, why haven't you finished that angel. I saw him, he was already weak." I was looking at with a strong and fierce look. Devion always behaved rebellious and always sought only what he wanted, even though he followed my orders.
"No, Merlox. I was about to finish them. But 'they' already came and I though..."
" 'They' already came... You know that these small fools can't even do their job right. You were there to take care. They only know how to corrupt mind and seduce. They were once the main force of the Koga clan. But we only fight with our strength. Though, they might prove useful..."
Devion looked at me and nod. He was about to leave, when he turned and asked me.
"What happened at the Doom Spire. What were the orders?" I turned my back and looked at all the camps. Fire, everywhere and all the common demons, dancing and enjoying in sins. But above all of them there was a huge tower. So big that it could be seen from any parts of hell. It looked like it was in ruins an it had many floors, each guarded by a set of special demons. Though all the clans were on their own, they still were controlled by one main council. And that was the Doom council. It was located in that tower and all the demons, before they were about to make something big, must had to go and get approval from the council.
"I remember Devion. Sounds like it was yesterday. Heh, well it was yesterday. Damn, how the time slow moves here in Hell. It feels like an eternity." The journey to the council is hard as always. Those guardians, they don't let you in so easily... It was a long night.
The Doom Spire. A jewel of our Hell. It raised above everything else, ready to be at the center of it. It was covered in dust and minerals. Black as night and grey as thick fog, everyone always wanted to live there. Everyone, except maybe me. That place was the last thing that I needed to do. But if I don't get the approval there, we might get suspicious fast. It was time for me to go there.
I was walking across the red and blazing fields. The lesser demons lived here, all covered in pain and waiting that someone pick them up. They only had dirty worn out clothes on them and were crawling on the ground, asking for mercy for the elites like myself. But from these demons, we get our most best troops. Here, I too found Devion. Though Devion was different, I could see right that. He was much smarter and eager than those little brats here!
I tried as much to avoid contact with those creatures, forcing my ways to the very gates of Doom Spire.
The gates were covered in ashes and had skulls on all the sides. There was a huge gap between the first and second and in between them stood two guardians.
"You Merlox. We know you, what do you want?" I looked at them and with amusing smile said.
"You two seem like you are hanging here pretty well, I might as well just go and make my way inside. But with you two love heads there, nah, I might skip it." I turned my back and was ready to take cerestial spear. I saw that they were pretty angry at me. And they were really formidable. One of them was green and the other one red. One of the carried big golden axe and the other long and heavy spear similar to mine. This might be fun.
Just when I was about to charge, I saw that someone came fast in front of me. That hair and those clothes... Veronica, I knew that she couldn't resist. The guardians looked at her and charged with all the might. She used her own weapons. In one hand she hold a fire whip and in the other a device that looked like a flame thrower, yet it was unique. A battle lasted long and I too joined. Side by side, two clans stood together in battle against against them.
The guardians were defeated. At the last end they recognized who we are and let us in immediately. They shall now always have this face in the mind. As I Veronica were climbing the stairs, I could notice as the other guardians were watching at us. Veronica mostly ignored them, but I could not help to wonder what it might be if the attacked us. As we were moving a floor by floor, we finally came to the main room...
"So this is Veronica where it is decided. After this, they will be ours." Veronica looked at me with her cold face, nod and entered the wast halls. The meeting was long, and at first the council didn't want to approve it to us, thinking that we could easily die. But soon, thanks to Veronica, we got approval to capture two humans. We get all the information we needed.
"Leon and Hime... Let's go Veronica." We moved to the door and so our quest began.
"So you see now Devion how it all happened. One day, you too will be able to go there. Though, maybe not on the violent way. It seems that we are not very welcome there though. Anyway Devion I can see that the humans already went. We should hurry too. I mean, I don't want to leave Veronica and Fox there too much alone."
He began walking to the the meeting spot. I knew that there, our story will finally begin...

Sorry if I included too much of the past reference there, but I wanted to actually show what I thought about Doom Spire.^^ And I added at the beginning little scene, though it is hard that Merlox will actually gain some love, but I shall try to make it happen. xD
I can't wait to see what will happen on that meeting.^^ Probably Fox running trying to catch Veronica. xD
