Playtime

✥ Hime ✥

I smiled happily; I had just found myself a new playmate! As Devion transformed into a monstrous and merciless beast, I spectated the scene in awe as he tore demon after demon limb from limb. The hatred in his eyes that burned with a fiery flame illuminated the demonic pub we were in, paralyzing the lesser demons in the building. I beamed with pride.

Finally, the demon I had wanted to extract my revenge upon fell to the dirt covered floor, lifeless. With a final pant, Devion reverted to his first form and I bounded closer towards him. Gripping his arm, I whispered,
"Let's go back, my little Punisher."

Dragging Devion through the winding labyrinth of caves that made up the underground network of Hell, as I had come to learn, I quickly made my way through the high-ceiling halls as Devion instructed me. We finally returned to the meeting room where V, Merlox, and Fox waited for us.

"Where have you been?" Merlox inquired with an angry scowl.

Devion began to speak, but I cut him off, "We went off to play!"

Fox smirked and beckoned me towards him, "Alright, now let's go and play with our angel enemies!"

"Can Devion come along?" I asked innocently.

"Absolutely not--"

Merlox was cut off my Veronica's enthusiastic exclamation, "That's a great idea! Now, you guys can get going!" Plastering a fake smile upon her flawless face, she waved to us until we were out of sight. I wondered what she had been planning.

At this point, I realized that all the other humans in the world were already fast asleep, victims to the demon virus V and the others had planted. A satisfied grin crept onto my face as I thought of all the people up there that deserved death... So, so many unsuspecting people. I would definitely have to teach them a lesson when I had the time!

"Alright, Devion, you can carry Hime, and I'll take Leon," Fox said, dragging Leon towards him and beginning to flap his wings in order to lift off.

Devion's face turned a faint shade of red, but he grabbed me by the hand and unfurled his wings. I pouted, "You're going to dangle me by one hand a thousand feet above the ground?!"

"Alright," he answered, going to grab my other arm.

"No, no, no!" I shook my head vigorously. "You put your hands here," I clutched his hands and placed them around my hips, "And then you fly!"

"O-Okay," he faltered for a moment, but regained his composure and was soon flying after Fox, who had soared ahead without a moment's notice. Flying above Hell was like gazing down at a city in ruins, except it was frozen between it's final destruction and peace. Black lava oozed from the mountainous walls on either side of the demonic domain, and a thick fog seemed to float just atop the main city. I had never seen the Devil, or whoever was in charge of this place. But if I ever did meet him, I'd give him some construction advice.

We quickly ascended until we reached the exit to Hell, quickly zooming through it and into clear blue skies. Puffy clouds floated above us, but in the human cities nothing moved. There were no sounds; no impatient cars honking, or the constant chatter of pedestrians on their mobile phones. All was silent. It was deafening.

I peered down with mild curiosity at the silent streets below, watching them as they got smaller and smaller. Soon, we were so high in the sky air was becoming scarce and I had to take many deep breathes just to stay conscious.

We finally reached the barrier the angels put up just before the Clouds, but Fox and Devion were able to break through it easily. Either they were very powerful, or the barrier had broken for a moment there!

Rich oxygen filled my lungs and I gulped down multiple breathes gratefully. Any more of that and I could have died! And that would not have been good, not good at all.

Devion began swooping towards a deserted part of the ninth Cloud, where a lonesome shabby-looking building sat surrounded by towering skyscrapers. Fox appeared next to us, letting Leon go roughly, and was already ready to leave.

"Wait," Devion ordered him, staring at the building as if he could see through it. He nudged Fox and glanced towards the place again, and Fox's eyes suddenly brighten.

"It's an angel," he murmured deviously, a malicious gleam appearing in his golden eyes.

"Well duh, they're all over the place here!" I pointed out. Leon looked on at the exchange silently. I wondered if he even knew how to speak!

"No," Devion shook his head, "An Astrum Angel."

"Like the ones that are our enemies?" I questioned, suddenly interested. "I wanna see!"

"We only get this opportunity once in a lifetime," Fox grinned, slowly creeping towards the side of the building. He cautiously inched closer and closer to the front, and I followed close behind with the others.

The rusty creak of a door opening sounded throughout the alley we were now in, and in one swift movement Fox had lunged out and grabbed the first person who had exited the doorway.

"Eternity!" a high-pitched voice called, but Fox had already disappeared and was flying away as fast as his midnight-black wings could carry him.

I peeked around the side of the building to catch a glimpse of the angel's companions, and were surprised to see two human girls looking around, somewhat confused. One had neon green hair with glasses, and the other had curly brown hair, but both had a faint glow to them.

Devion peered at them as well, and his eyes widened momentarily before returning back to their normal size. He gestured both Leon and I towards him, and carrying each one in one hand, he beat his wings hurriedly. We were gone before the human girls even had a chance to look in the alleyway.

So, we now had a captured angel friend with us! Playtime was about to get much more interested.

~~~
I hope that was okay! >_< So Eternity got herself captured, and you can continue this with Leon. :3 Have them chain her to a wall and torture her or something, anything goes. XD I hope you liked the post! ^^
