Undeserving
Undeserving is how I feel right now.
Have you ever wanted to win a prestigious reward for something you put a lot of dedication and effort into? It's the middle of the semester and the nominees were announced.. but you weren't included on the list. You notice a colleague on the list who you know doesn't put as much effort as you into your specialty. You begin to question, "On what criteria is this person nominated?"
That is how I am feeling, however, the person that is on the list of nominees is myself.
I'll break it down. Prestigious honors society for nurses invites a handful of students. My friends have a higher GPA and probably have as much skill, probably even more, as I have in nursing. They didn't get invited. Now I am questioning, "How?"
Is it just a fluke? I guess I'm in denial.
But I really want my close net of friends to be inducted as well.
Update: So this honors society wants me to pay dues every year.
I have to research deeper into the benefits.

Yesterday, I lost a match during an endless battle and left 5 seconds early right AFTER I was beat, game over. Mind you, I didn't leave in the MIDDLE of the fight like most people.
Just because I wanted to save time and go to the XBL lobby just to play Castle Crashers w/ my friends, who were waiting for me, the fool gets mad and decides to flame at me 2x. Logical?
It wasn't even a ranked match, where it actually kinda counts. Getting a bit tempered over that, I can somewhat understand..
But just to get berated at just because I didn't want to wait for loading screens, I don't get it.
This is on the same level as that guy who unnecessarily talked trash about my C. Viper. That time, I didn't skip the you lose part.
I love the XBL community. Using overused curse words to win an argument really adds soo much strength to the reasoning behind it.
If the moronic people only knew that not ALL people play competitively on the same level. My profile clearly states Recreation for my gamer zone.
Also I had LEGENDARY LOSER as my title. You think that you'll play against a good person w/ that title on?
I wished I could see how the people who berate me handle my college workload and the time I put into my future profession. You know, the stuff that should really matter to most people.
Only a decent sized net of people can get paid playing games competitively. Let's see if my haters can actually earn a stable income out of doing that.

Hello, folks. I got a random question considering your feelings about grades!
In my second year of high school, my opinion used to be, "As long as I pass and get that B or C+.."
Now I'm like, "I need to get that A! A, A, A!" I just got a B+ and I used to think that it's a good grade, but I feel like it's a mediocre grade. :/
I want to get a good GPA and I feel like I need all As for my difficult classes.
Sure, I made 2nd honors from ES to HS, but I wouldn't want to brag about it because just about anyone can get 2nd honors if they at least pay some attn during class.
How do you guys feel about grades? Are you a high achiever or do you just want to graduate asap?

Hi guys, this is a short segment from a recording of one of my nursing professor's lectures.
Sometimes she goes off topic during class and we end up having a blast. This was one of her most notable off-topic discussions… and it's about CATS, DOGS and other animals! Way off the map of nursing!
I really wanted to share this. If I didn't have her for two of my nursing classes, both subjects probably wouldn't be as enjoyable. Interacting w/ the students and making learning more fun & enjoyable makes a great professor. Thanks prof!

I've been busy w/ school and being obsessed w/ medical terminology.
However, I am somehow managing to remain decent at poker. I wished I could continue watching anime though. :(
Anyways, there should be a poker anime. I can just see how badass any good company could make it.
