Hey, ShikamaruRocks, here. How ya doin'?

I have another world. One called "Shika's Busy-ish Nook" that contains less random stuff than you'll find here. For the most part. I'll leave all the official stuff that's on here though, but all new official stuff will be there.

I AM A GIRL. So many people think I'm a dude, but I'm not. I promise.

Soooo, let's get on with it, shall we?

Most of these are in no particular order...

Favorite Manga: Fruits Basket, Saiyuki, Saiyuki Reload, RurouniKenshin, DNAngel, Prince of Tennis, Trigun, One Piece, KareKano, Lovely Complex, Whistle!, PeaceMaker Kurogane, Fullmetal Alchemist, HanaKimi, Ouran High School Host Club, etc.

Favorite Anime: Hunter x Hunter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Peacemaker Kurogane, DNAngel, Fruits Basket, TekkonKinkreet, Saiyuki, Mushi-shi, BECK, Avatar (it counts!!! grrrr....), Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, RurouniKenshin, etc.

Music Peeps: YellowCard, Death Cab for Cutie, Snowpatrol, A Fire Inside, The Used, Three Days Grace, Seether, Orange Range, My Chemical Romance, Hoobastank, Muse, The Pillows, Plain White T's, Angels and Airwaves, Flaming Lips, Bump of Chicken, and!!! The Jonas Brothers (my guilty pleasure).

I love cooking, drawing, reading (mostly manga but novels are wicked awesome too. I just don't have the time nor stamina for novels as much anymore...though I have been working my way back in. lol), knitting, watching my brother play Zelda/Metroid games (lol), and skateboarding, though I fail epicly at it.

Fare thee well, and all that

While I have indeed missed all my lovely people on theO (mostly Nehz, Alla, and Chase), I mostly returned to properly say goodbye.

2 years ago when I just poofed it was largely due to my sudden realization that I easily become highly addicted to STUFF. I used to frequent Gaia. I would spend hours everyday reading messages and sending messages and talking and blah blah blah. I got involved with a few not so nice things as a result as well, thus I just stopped one day. I thought it safer not to return for fear of being sucked back into the black hole of death.

The same thing finally happened with theO. I was spending inordinate amounts of time checking things and seeing if people has read my stupid junk or commented on my art or blah blah blah, again. Twisted and I decided it would be easier for us to stop if we just straight up stopped. No farewell post or anything.

I finally decided that I should at least properly say bye. I came back on yesterday for the first time just to check it out because, as I had said, a friend found my worlds and made a few comments. I thought just coming back for a second or two would be safe. Sadly, it was not for I spent forever poking around and wondering if anyone would comment and all such things and the like.

As a last bit of info. Twisted's back is on the way to, not recovery, but less pain. She had some of the nerves in her back burned a few weeks ago and should notice a lot of improvement soon which will last for up to 2 years. Hopefully it does. I no longer work at Borders (if any of you remember when I did) but clean houses. I used to work with Twisted, but she hasn't been able to work for about a year. I now clean with a friend, or my brother, or both at once. I still do full time volunteer Bible education work. Over these two years I bought a Honda Metropolitan Scooter, a Wii and I just got a nice, happy, dark blue, wonderful, Toshiba laptop. I am awful at telling news or of knowing what people might want to know, sorry Alla.

So, I must be going. It has been lovely speaking to you guys again. Now you know we haven't died. I wish you all the best with a life full of happiness, love, kittens, techno musicyness and all the things that might make you smiley.

I imagine I will get on once more in a couple days to read any comments you might leave as a goodbye. Sorry if I have made you sad by returning to only say bye. But I really thought I should.

My name is Savannah. I felt like letting yall know. So, bye bye ^-^

It's been a while...

Hello, fantastic people of TheO.

It is I. ShikamaruRocks. I won't be posting ever really. A friend just recently found my old account thingy and posted some comments so I felt like saying hi.

I hope you all are doing well. I bought a nice laptop last Thursday and StarCraft II yesterday and I'm enjoying myself. My name for StarCraft is AwesomeFace. XDDD A bit of an inside joke from when my sister, TwistedCyberChick, my brother and I went to Japan 3 years ago.

So, I'll bid you farewell for now. Perhaps some of my old acquaintances will leave me little comments :3

Bye bye! Off to watch MoneyBall, for we have become giant Baseball nerds. I <3 you Hoz!!

Chubby babies are squashable

I'm thinking about submitting a piece of art in an realism contest here on theO. I've never really tried to draw real people so I thought I'd do some practice today while I was at work (we were crazy slow).

Here's the outcome.

Meh. I think it's ok for a first try.

Off to eat now.

Work is fun (and other lies I tell myself)

I received this text while at work yesterday from my brother's friend in Colorado:

May the 4th be with you.

Now, that said, my feet hurt.

I woke up at 6:45 to get ready for work at 8. I'll be there until 5. 9 hours is pretty long and I was pretty tired, but meh. I figured I could deal. Left for work at 7:35 and got there at 7:55. Got the cafe ready for opening at 9 and waited around a little.

We were super slow until about 10:30 then I actually got a couple customers! Yay! I didn't make a single tip until Krisandra (possibly my favorite person to work with) showed up to relieve me for my break at 12:00. Got back from break (I had eaten quickly then took a short rest on the couch while listening to Shino, my lovely iPod, sing to me)at 1:00 and chatted with Krisandra.

Krisandra started feeling really yucky at 3:00. Fifteen minutes into her break (4:00 to 5:00) one of our supervisors came up to me with her and said she got sick during her break and needed to go home. I had to stay until Maci gets there at 6:00.

10 hours. I had a ten hour day at work. Uuuuuuugh. Basically all I do at work is stand FOREVER.

Now, that said, my feet hurt.

That's always the first thing I notice when I get out of bed the morning after a long day.

Fun with middle aged women. XD

Last night I was with my mom and a bunch of my family's friends (all older than me by at least 20 years).

The only guy there, Dennis, is around 60 something, I believe. I wanted to get his attention (can't remember now what I wanted to say), so I asked his daughter what his middle name is. David, apparently. So I said (rather loudly, for all the middle aged women are yakking), "Dennis David Insert-last-name-here!"

"Yes, yes, yes," he said, looking up at me.

Before I had a chance to ask him whatever question it was that I had, Cathy, (who is right around Dennis's age) says, "Who names their son Dennis David? That's retarded!!"

Now, keep in mind, I am already laughing pretty hard when my mother, who is 46, interjects with this while she is laughing, "You totally just dissed his mom!"

XD If only she'd started it off with "Dude", that would have been perfect.

I love my family (friends included in that).

Off to work now. Y'all have fun. I hope today isn't as drippy there as it is here.
