Appearance: At first, Ambrosia comes off as a major space-casey screw-loose due to her lack of attention skills and visual focus. Couple that with her rigid belief in the supernatural and her uncanny knack to use lame puns whenever possible, she easily fits in the classic crazy weirdo trope.

Personality: Ambrosia tends to lose focus and get sidetracked far too easily, but when engaged, she's actually rather animated, excitable, and rather peppy. She usually doesn't initiate conversations, but she has no hindrances in entering open ones, even though her input is betimes unwanted, given her obsessive use of puns and casual mentions of legendary creatures she is completely sure exist and her silly happy, happy, happiness.
Classic case of 'crazy monster-hunter syndrome' aside, Pendragon is extremely pleasant (pleasant to the extreme), kind, and actually kind of helpful.
She is also rather playful and lighthearted, but her willingness to goofing around is rather capricious, so people tend to be a bit on edge around her.

Life before school: Ambrosia grew up in an urban legend-rich American town. Her interest was sparked with a few strange settings which were renowned for strange occurrences and creature sightings.
She spent a lot of time exploring her general area and taking "photographic evidence" of her discoveries, then posting them on a blog she created to document them.
While no pictures or recordings were quite evidence to swing the mainstream media (aside from one or two late-night interviews to fill up time slots), Ambrosia took the monster-hunter culture by storm. Blogs and webshows centered around cryptology were abuzz with her work.
With her new status as subculture celebrity and long-unquenched thirst for new creatures to explore for, Pendragon began scouring the world for more mythological creature to unveil (as gently and humanely as possible).
During her travels abroad, along with many photographs and audio recordings, Ambrosia also compiled a large work based solely on all her evidence regarding humanoids (including Sasquatch and the Yeti) which won her several awards and managed to garner her some attention from other media outlets other than the cryptozoological subculture (though she still remained only as an internet phenomenon). Her works were also featured on a couple major news networks' websites, which quickly grabbed the attention of Prospect Summit's principle.
