Hello again all. So last night on Toonami, I watched the first episode of that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime series. I have to say, so far that anime isn't really doing much for me. I mean it's hard to make a judgment like that from the first episode alone, but at the moment it doesn't look like it's going to be one of my favorites. Anyway, what surprised me was the ending theme that the anime had.

That's right. The anime used the song, Roundabout by the band, Yes. This was something that I did not expect at all. To my knowledge, I've never encountered an anime that used the song of a 70s or 80s rock band as part of its soundtrack.

I have to admit that it is a pretty cool song, especially that instrumental part at the beginning. Anyway, I find myself wishing that this sort of thing would happen more often. It would be awesome if there was an anime out there that opened or ended with a song by Journey, or if the episode of an anime series included a song by Phil Collins. Heck, I've done a whole post in this world about how well I think the original Yu-Gi-Oh! and the music of Styx go together.
