What defines us as who we are?

Is it our actions? Or our words? Is it our perception of ourselfs, or is it how other people percive us?

I like to think that we are what other people think we are. That way, I get to be so many diffrent people.

So, how would ya'll describe me?

What kind of person am I, really?

The Fallen

You know something?

I don't think I really know people. Like, really know them. How they think, and act, and what drives them, what really drives them.

Maybe its my fault.

I mean, I tend not to ask to many questions. Not the right ones, I mean.

So, what are your questions?

//crazy

Chopin

I'mma got taged.
Boooo hiiiiiiis~

1. Quick! Describe your favorite hat!
Uh, well. I am not really a hat kinda person. I mean, I do not really wear hats much, and really they look right funny on me. And, really I cannot think of any hats that really tickle my fancy even if I cannot wear them. Perhaps the hat worn by Cat in the Hat?

2. What is something that you wish existed?
The ability to magically go into your teli screen-- or computer screen-- and interact with the world that was playig on screen. I mean, being able to run around Albion, or Morrorwind? Badass.

3. If you could trade places with any character in any series whom would you pick and why?
I dunno. I think I would trade places with a lot of people who lived in cool places. And after I did, I would ever get around to saving the world or whatever it was I was originally meant to do, I would just slack of and explore this new world of mine! Like, Radiata or Albion, or Skyrim, or Morrowind, or Cyrodiil, or the world of Baten Kiatos, or the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles world, or Chopin's Dream World, or or or or countless other places that I can't think of right now.

4. What's a weird experience that happened to you?
Most things that I end up doing? I get myself into some fairly queer situations. Like, having things catch fire (my craptop) for no foreseeable reason what-so-ever.

5. First fandom?
I don't understand...'fandom'?

6. Stripes, plaid, or polka dots?
Polka dots all the way man. I mean, firstly it is just a right fine name, polka dots. All quirky and queer, and all the stuff you all know I love. And it’s kind of retro and all that stuff.

7. Ultimate OTP?
OTP? One-time password?

8. Least favorite character ever and why?
Ehhhh... I don't know I have one that really tops the cake, I mean sure, I dislike alot of characters, bu no one that really grinds my coffee beans.

9. Are you allergic to anything?
Three things that will haunt me forever- cedar trees, perfume, and garlic. Well, mostly garlic that haunts me...

10. Do you like to write?
Pffffffft- YES. I love writing on so much!

11. If you answered no to the previous question, too bad. Now write me a short story. (Can be serious or ridiculous or whatever)
Imma write you a short story anyway, because I can.

A queer girl, this girl that sat before me was. Her hair tied back, a mess of carrot orange reaching out from her head. The bored and vacant stare and the pouty lips, this girl looked every bit the typical teen of her age. The only exception to this statement being her mass of tattoos that spanned from fingertip to no doubt the flats of her feet.
Her ink, her permanent markings and branding were the first thing to catch my eye; no doubt since they even stretched across her face in bits, around her eye and cheeks. Reds, blues, blacks, and pinks, and every colour under the rainbow she stuck out like a sore thumb from her counterparts beside her.
“Miss Kingston?”
Her eyes still betrayed her inner boredom, but she stood anyway to shake my hand.
“Anna.” I nodded, making a mental reminder to remember ‘first names always’.
Motioning for us to sit, I pulled from my shoulder bag a notebook and pen. When hosting an interview I like to take notes, even if I never read them over again.
“Anna. Right. So tell me, Anna what made you decide to try modeling?” I waited patiently, as she seemed to turn the question over in her head.
“Miss Sunn-“
“Florence.”
“Florence, I am not interested in modeling. I am interested in art.”
I groaned inwardly at the clichéd line.
“I am interested in presenting your clothing line in a way that transcends conventional boundaries of photography and modeling.”She held perfect eye contact and kept a perfectly straight face while she said this; acting like it wasn’t the first time had heard this line. What was worse about this entire affair was that I knew she was dead serious about what she said- you could see it in that stare. The stare that said, ‘I’m such a hipster and I don’t really need this job I’m only applying for it for your sake so I can share my overwhelming intelligence on this subject with you and better your life’.
Every time I have an interview like this, I die a little inside.
“Um, yes well Miss Kingston-“
“Anna.”
“Yes, right Anna. Well, Anna thank you very much for coming all this way to meet me. It’s been nice meeting you, and I will consider your application.” Pulling out my ending lines, I made an attempt to exit the diner as quickly as possible without seeming rude.
“Oh don’t tell me you actually bought that load of bull, Sunn.”
Of course, like any person in their right mind, I stopped my attempt to flee and look confused at the teen before me. Her mouth forming a half smile, she leaned back in her chair.
“Sorry Sunn- can I call you that?- but really who even talks like that anymore? Can you say 90’s Hipster much?” She brushed a stray hair from her eyes before continuing to speak.
“Hears the deal, Sunn. You want to hire me, because I’m different. I’ve seen the people that your agency hires, and none of them even have piercings, let alone tattoo’s on more than half of their body. I’m the one that breaks the mold at your little Barbie Doll factory, that’s why you came down here anyway. You’ve already made your mind up the moment that you saw my portfolio, this was just a formality.
“And, let’s be honest here, Sunn. If I can fool you into thinking that I’m some sort of 90’s hipster, who speaks like a complete nut what do you think I am capable of doing on camera?”
This Anna Kingston leaned forward bracing herself with her forearms on the tables smiled that cocky little half smile of hers again.
“It’s Florence.”
“Whatever you say, Sunn.”
I signed and pinched the bridge on my nose before settling back down in my chair. If nothing else I knew that this girl would be a hassle: a frustrating, always right hassle.
“Even if you’re right, what makes you think that I can do anything with a tattooed, pierced, ginger who dressed in second hand peacock patterned cloths? We’re a high end ‘Barbie Doll Factory’, you know.”
That little grin of hers remained locked in place.
“Because you’re good at what you do.”
At this point I wasn’t sure if I wanted to punch the smug look right off her face, or hire her right on the spot.

Walk the Moon

Whoa Nelly!

I swear, I have been on this site virtually everyday. I just seemed to have regressed back into my lurker days for awhile there. I do that from time to time it seems.

I would make a clever excuse about being really busy or whatever, but really that’s not true.

Anyway-
A day in the life of Matt Tsuki has changed drastically since I last bothered to sit down and write a long-winded post with little to no aim in mind. I moved from my old home, and I am now living on my own. I also quite my job at the candy store (oh good heavens I miss that place)-- still have not found a new place of employment sadly. And I got accepted, and have been attending for over a month now college. I also seemed to have bagged myself a significant other (when did that happen anyway?). And the saddest part of all, I put my baby Charlene up for the winter, so now I can't drive her around anymore.

I think that is the highlight reel there.

I'll keep this nice and short since I am sure no one feels like reading anything more than a handful of words from me.

Leave a comment, I miss ya'll!

ALSO-
Walk the Moon.
Check 'em out.
Good band.

Civil War

Lets take a break for a moment- no I have no idea what from. Anyway, lets take a break and talk about music.

No, no we are not getting into talent or skill or anything like that. No, thats just silly.

No, no no we are not going to get into saying who is a better artist than anouther following a list of logical reasons. No that is always just very very silly.

What I want to talk about is music and you.

Yes, you.

Stop pointing to yourself, you look silly.

Anyway.

You listen to music right? I am sure that you do. If not thats okay, I going to keep talking to you like you do though. So, who do you like listening to you?

Oh, thats nice.

So who do you not like listening to?

Mainstream music?

Wait, that doesn't make sense.

I didn't even know there was such a genre called Mainstream. A funny word to use for genre. Sounds french or somet-

Oh sorry what was that?

Mainstream isn't a genre? Its just any music thats currently popular. Stuff that plays alot on the radio you mean?

Its this machine that pickes up invisable waves through the air and transfers them into sound so that you can- oh you know what never mind. Thats not important. So whats wring with mainstream music now?

Its popular?

Thats a funny way to describe what kind of music you don't like. Don't you think?

Well, think about it for a minute. When does something go from not popular to popular? When alot of people like it?

No that can't be. Otherwise you'd totally wouldn't dig raentein. I mean, alot of people like them.

And- sorry to cut you off there, but what is alot of people anyway? I mean like, five people? Twenty people? A couple thousand?

I mean, Julian Lennon was played on the radio.

Yes the radio thing again. Look, work with me okay?

Thank you.

Anyway- where was I?

Ah yes, Julian Lennon. He was played on the radio quite a bit, but I don't really think you can call him mainstream or popular.

And- sorry again to cut you off, what about Neil Young? Is that guy main stream or popular?

Do you even know who that is?

Never mind, really thats not important.

Oh what about the Bare Naked Ladies? Totally have to be popular music- you won't like them-

Sorry?

Oh you like them?

Oh.

My bad.

But, they're popular...

They get played on the radio and everything...

Sorry, I'll stop with the radio thing.

All I'm saying is, thats a really weird thing to say that you don't like music based off of a term like 'its mainstream' or its 'popular'.

Again sorry to cut you off again- but what does that even MEAN?

Oh. I guess I did say that before didn't I?

Well- I just don't get it! Can you explain it to me?
