Awesome Canadian TV Shows To See

In celebration of Canada Day, I thought it's time to present a list of awesome Canadian T.V. shows you should check out if you ever consider getting into watching Canadaian T.V.

  • "The Littlest Hobo" (1963): a family show about a lone german shephard travelling from town to town, helping many people in trouble/sistress
  • "Rocket Robin Hood" (1966): an animated Sci-Fi space adventure re-imagining of the Robin Hood tale
  • "The Marvel Super Heroes" (1966): Based on 1960s comic books published by Marvel Comics, this animated series is split into five series of animated short segments ("Captain America", "The Incredible Hulk", "The Invincible Iron Man", "The Mighty Thor", and "Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner")
  • "Spider-Man" (1967): the first animated re-interpretaion of Marvel's most well-known webslinger
  • "The Red Green Show" (1991): a sketch comedy/sitcom hybrid show paraodying outdoors lifestyle and home improvement shows
  • "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" (1993): a fictional show mocking news broadcast shows
  • "ReBoot" (1994): 3D aniamted seris about a municipal community inside a computer

Called "Beast Wars: Trasnformers" in U.S. airings): Set in the universe of "Transformers Generation One", this 3D animated series centers around an Earth-based war between two Cybertronian factions that can transform into animals/insects: the Maximals (descendants of Autobots) and Predacons (descendants of Decepticons)
  • "Stargate SG-1" (1997. U.S./Canada co-production): a military task force travel around the universe via a portal and enter battles to defend Earth from alien threats
  • "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World" (1999): an adaptation of the fantasy adventure novel about a team of explorers searching for the prehistoric island unknown from the modern world during the early 20th Century
  • "Kevin Spencer" (1999): an animated comedy about a teenage sociopath who will do antything to satisfy himself (even with drugs and violence) with no regards for negative cosnequences to his actions
  • "Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda" (2000. U.S./Canada co-coproduction): The crew of the starship Andromeda Ascendant travel the universe with struggles restore the Systems Commonwealth to its former glory
  • "Trailer Park Boys" (2001): a mockumentary about three individuals in a trailer park community performing risky attempts to get rich with intentions of avoiding getting sent into the slammer
  • "Puppets Who Kill" (2002): four living puppets with a penchant for crime and murder prove to be difficult to get redemption while living in sober house for rehabilitation
  • "Odd Job Jack" (2003): Jack Ryder performs a whole variety of different job positions after university graduation
  • "The John Dore Television Show" (2007): a documentary-esque sitcom involving a fictional version of "Canadaian Idol" co-host John Dore, who sets out on quests to rectify his own flaws and mistakes
  • "Todd and The Book of Pure Evil" (2010): a group of high school teenagers battle the paranormal terrors released by a magic book that grants people wishes, but at a high price for them to pay
  • "Dan For Mayor" (2010): a slacker runs for mayor of an Ontario town, but with a lack of preparations for responsibilities the job description holds
