Here's part 1 of a series of photots I took of my EDF Main battlship model. The photos were first posted in my deviantART portfolio. I purchased the kit the build the model back in late October at the Montreal-based shop Sci-Fi Anime, and the item itself is from a series of model kits based on the original Japanese release version of the Space Batleship Yamato anime. It took me approx. 6 hours to complete. As a bonus, the kit included parts to build two White Comet Empire vehicles: the Devastor Strike Fighter (called "Scorpion" in the Americanized "Star Blazers" dub) and the Paranoia Interceptor. The Devastor model is at the right of the EDF Main Battleship model's dsiplay stand while the Paranoia model is at the left. Note that the stand piece for the Devastator got permantly tilted down due to an attempt to connect Devastor right after attaching the stand piece itself with model glue. On the bright side, the display can look like Devastor got shot down in combat against the EDF.
