Eagle Transporter

The Eagle Transporter (or simply Eagle) is the primary mass-produced spacecraft used by the crew of Moonbase Alpha. The vehcicle itself is constructed to follow several kinds of missions, including exploring planets, defending the moonbase from attackers and invaders, and transporting supplies/items from and to the base. It consists of three detachable/attacahble parts: the command module, the superstructure (consisting of 4 landing pods, a frontal service module, a rear engineering module, landing rockets, and a supporting frame to connect both rear engineering module and frontal service module), and a servive pod (which comes in different types due to diferent kinds of missions performed).

Technical Info
Max. Spped: 15% Spped of light
Weapons and defences: Laser gun, laser turret, space missiles, Anti-gravity/radiation, screens, heat shields, protective storm
Propulsion: Nuclear Fusion Rockets

Service Pod Types

  • Transporter Pod (a.k.a. Supply Pod, Passenger Pod): The standard service pod type. Basically desinged for Eagles to transport moonbase personnel.
  • Reconnaissance Pod (a.k.a. Recon Pod, Survey Pod): Exterior is identical to the trasnporter pod. It's interior carries sensory devices for exploration and is equipped with a computer wall that can connect to Moonbase Alpha's master computer, or work by itself. Holds up to 4 passengers.
  • Rescue Pod (a.k.a. Medical Pod): Red-stripped variant of the Trasnporter Pod. It carries mediacl and life-saving equipment.
  • Freighter Pod (a.k.a. Cargo Pod):
  • Laboratory Pod (a.k.a. Science Pod, Booster Pod): Boosterized version of the Recon Pod, which uses its the interior as a science lab. Eagles use this when locating and refining minerals on planets as well as for planetary contact and survey missions.
  • VIP Pod: Orange-colored variant of the Trasnporter pod designed for eagles to use when transporting high ranking officials of Earth's Space Programme, the operating authority for Moonbase Alpha.
