When I first started this WORLD at theOtaku.com, I had inserted a shot of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E as a header for the homepage. However, thinking back to my work on the intro pages I worked on for theOtaku.com WORLDs Leijiverse 999 and DC And Marvel Assembele, I felt it was important to remind this place's visitors that it covers the franchise of Star Trek in general. So today, I present to you, the new header for Star Trek Nation.
At top from left to right are the protagonal starship commanding officers from their own respective Star Trek series: James T. Kirk from Star Trek: The Original Series, Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Benjamin Sisko from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager, and Jonathan Archer from Star Trek: Enterprise. Below each of the commanding officers in this header is the protagonal starhsip of his/her respective series: from left to right are the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, U.S.S. Defiant NX-74205 (note that the registry number shown in the Defiant's shot, NX-74210 is an error made by artists for a scene ins ST: DS9), U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656, and Enterprise NX-01.
