Guess I'll start off with the pleasant part of the post, ne? ^_^ On Thursday I went to one of the parks with my friend Nico. I hadn't gone to that park in years, so I saw a lot of new things: a clean lake (it's truly a sight!), a LOT of pigeons (fat and squishy!! 
I love to squee "Squishy!!" whenever I see a "fat" bird XD They ruin away from me!) and even swans. Yup, you read it correctly, SWANS! In Bucharest!! We had just drunk some homemade cherry juice and thought we were seeing things XD There were two white swans and a black one. Oddly enough, more people came after we came, with cameras and phones; they started filming the swans and taking pictures of them. I don't know why, but that ticked me - I get annoyed whenever I see people filming with cameras or taking photos like crazy!
Art-wise, I made a new artwork. This time it's a painted artwork. I appreciate the comments everyone left on it, thank you very much for the support. Also, a vector of Senri from the +Anima manga below.

Now comes the depressing part, at least for me it is. Feel free to stop reading, I won't mind if you skip this part.
Nico has a friend, Sabina. She is one of her best friends, they've been classmates and best friends during grade school, and she remains her best friend (together with me). She has been away for a few days and returned today. Nico and I were supposed to go see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, both of us being Narnia fans (I have 6/7 books from the Narnia series and lent them to Nico). We went for a walk in another park today and, as we were returning home, she suddenly told be Sabina came back today and wants to come too. I must say it was difficult for me to stay calm that moment.
Now, I don't hate Sabina. She and Nico get along well and I understand that she's her best friend too, but we two have nothing in common. When I got "A Clockwork Orange" (the book), S. tagged along with us and I forced myself to look normal (I really wanted to strangle N. the moment she told S. she could come with us). It's just that I know N. has more fun with S. than with me -she watches films and goes for walks with me, whereas with S. she makes fun of guys on the Internet and other stuff. It's kind of embarrassing to be the extra person, and that's how I felt. They talked about things I had no idea about, so I could do nothing but listen and admire the scenery.
I can't tell N. what I think about S. either, that would ruin our friendship. She thinks I like S., while I don't mind her as long as she's not in my presence for too long. The thing is, I don't want to spend another day pretending to like her, which will probably ruin the movie for me. I'd rather watch it on my computer, even though it's not the same. I have another good friend, Marina, but I never made M. and N. meet because I know they're very different and it would be an awkward situation. That's what I hate about some people, shoving their friends down my throat and making me like them. I'll most probably think of an excuse not to go...
Sorry for talking so much, I feel bad now and I had to get it out somehow =_= I hope I didn't ruin your good mood or anything, sorry if I did... I'll probably feel better tomorrow, I usually do... That's me, I'm cheerful even though people would be depressed if they were in the same situation as me ^_^ Looking on the bright side of things!

The reason I'm not posting a lot about myself is that nothing much happens. i watch movies, go out with friends and work in PS ._. Not a very exciting life. Last stuff I watched were: Shutter (2004), The Descent and an episode of Lost. This is probably going to sound strange, but I laughed all the time throughout Shutter. It's your typical Asian horror flick, where a guy is haunted by the ghost of the girl. You've seen it all if you've seen The Grudge or The Ring. I've honestly had enough of ghost girls and such, I won't be watching an Asian horror film for a looong time ._.
Alas, a complaint paragraph had to exist, right? Sometimes I feel that some of the works on Minitokyo don't really deserve the...hype they get. Like some vectors getting into the Elite Gallery... I won't name anyone, but let's say that if I made one of the vectors that is currently in the EG, I bet it wouldn't get there. I work hard on my vectors and sometimes it's just unfair to see them ignored... I don't have connections around that place, like others do, so I try to rely only on my skills. It's just that most of the time people prefer to view the works of popular people.
Anyway, let's end this post on a cheerful note :) I made another vector! This time it's a screenshot and it didn't take too long, but it was in my Projects folder and I'm glad I finished it! I have a lot of screenshots on the line and a lot of pics from Let's Make Forbidden Love, this manga I've started reading yesterday :3

I'm currently lacking subjects to discuss in my Creative Paradox, so I'd appreciate it if you can give me tips ^^ I was thinking of writing reviews of anime series I've seen and posting them there, how does that sound?
And one more question before I go: if you could/wanted to write a book/story, what would you write about?
My answer: tee hee, it'd probably be an adventure novel ^^ I've tried to write it (wrote 3 chapters), but I'm not too good at illustrating emotions via writing. Maybe I'll be a film director! *daydreams*

As for other projects, I'm working on a lot of wallpapers. I've abandoned some because I simply don't have any ideas for continuing them... If anyone can lend their opinion, please do so. Any help is welcome ^_^ Oh, and if you want to continue some of these walls (the starred ones), ask me and I'll e-mail you the .PSD file (I'm not joking).
1. Akuma na Eros wallpaper - I'm not really stuck on this one because I don't have any ideas, it's because I'm lazy and I'm sick of looking at it XP The background is done, I don't feel like opening the .PSD in Photoshop and turning the group of layers on XD
2. Kaleido Star wallie featuring Anna* - decided to work on this because Anna is an underrated character. Don't feel like continuing the wall. BTW, Anna's fully vectored.
3. Kaleido Star wallie featuring Layla - I have big plans for this one, so this is mine :3 One thing: it'll be red :D
4. Kaleido Star wallie featuring Layla - Also big plans for this one. It's a dual screen one, and I just have to gather the courage to start painting trees again -_- I really don't want to drop this one.

8. Sailor Venus wallie - I'm actually happy with how this one is turning out. The background's done but I'm too lazy to make it visible XD After making some modifications to the scan (changed clothes and hair -the hair was "static"), I have some ideas for it... It'll be celestial.
9. Trigun wallie featuring Wolfwood - OK, so I had an idea when I extracted Wolfwood, but now I'm stumped. And just ignore the clouds, I'll make them less crappy if I can ^_^"

Anyway, 2 days ago I finally watched Fight Club and El Orfanato (The Orphanage). EO is in Spanish and we had no subs, and I spent half the film trying to figure out what they were saying (darn it, why do Spanish people speak so fast?!) I got a mild headache after that, and FC didn't help either. I liked it but the ending took me completely by surprise. It's like they grabbed it and shoved it in my face o_O It was a good film, nonetheless.

@SaxGirl: Yeah, I remember there was a Pokemon thing but I haven't seen any trading cards around at that time o_O Everything arrives later here so maybe I didn't notice it.
@Kelsey: I doth not know what is this POG thou talketh about ^_^" Sorry, I might recognize it if you describe it a bit. I've been wearing the same stuff for years and feeling good, too! If anything, I don't follow trends at all. These days, some yellow shoes and clothes are trendy, a crazy shade of yellow. I hate it when stuff I like is trendy, it makes me feel common -_- (not that I like the crazy yellow, I prefer pastel colors)
@Lory: I liked the song too (even though it would be WAY better if sung by Ville Valo -lead singer from H.I.M.- in my opinion). Linkin Park is...I don't know...some kind of "frustrated rock"? I don't really like screaming and their message is always about betrayal and the likes ._. Too negative for my taste.

A few days ago, Mary gave me a book to read. She said she had read it and was very good, so I started reading it. I've finished reading it a few moments ago, it's one of the most interesting books I have ever read; it deals with the problems of a 23-year-old drug addict who tries to give up drugs and alcohol. It's not written in a light-hearted style and I appreciate the realism and the fact that James Frey (author and main character) doesn't conceal things. I recommend it if you're into realistic books :)
For some weird reason, my scanner won't scan the entire cover, so you'll have to make do with this small image ._.
As for films, I haven't really been watching too many lately. I saw Ed Wood and it was enjoyable I like Tim Burton's strange way of thinking and he always manages to surprise me! I also saw Casanova; it was funny and romantic, I really needed to see something like that because I haven't seen a romantic comedy in a while ^_^ As for what's next, I'm planning to see Dracula (1992) because it has Anthony Hopkins in it ^^ And Gary Oldman. And Keanu Reeves ^^
Anyway, yesterday night I was up late, since I drank a frappe at about 8 p.m. and couldn't get to sleep to save my life -_-" Besides, it's hot at night and there are a lot of annoying mosquitoes buzzing around which is even more irritating! I just sat at the balcony and looked at the street for half an hour and thought to myself "why do people say the night life in Bucharest is wild?" Really, there were a few cars and some groups of 2-3 guys walking around but that was it! The street my flat faces is not one of the most important but it gets pretty crowded during daytime. Maybe it's only something to attract tourists (as if anyone would want to come here *rolls eyes*)... Is your city also like that? Quieter or noisier than said in the press?
Guess it's all I wanted to say this time, nothing much has happened. I've made a new vector, you can check it out here if you want to, it's dedicated to Saku for her birthday: vector & description. I've also been working on a few wallpaper and vector projects, I hope I can get them done soon... Oh, I almost forgot! I got a new monitor and it's widescreen and I love it! My current res is 1440x900 so expect a lot of widescreen walls from me (I usually wall widescreen anyway but now I have an actual reason to!)
