The next day was as bright as a shiny coin. Cara got up and noticed that Mirca was gone. There was a fire going and a pot hanging over it. Cara went to the pot and sniffed it. It was ready to be eaten. She looked in it and saw it was stew. Cara look it off the fire and got out a bowl. She ate the stew in silence, enjoying seeing nature. After she was done she felt tired, but she stayed awake. She pulled out her sword from her sheath and lied it on her lap. Then she dosed for a while, until she sensed a magic user. Cara jumped to her hind legs like Humans, but her injured leg made her kneel. She looked around, her pink tail moving back and forth. Then all of a sudden Mirca appeared in the camp. She looked tired, but Cara noticed that she had something in her hand.
"Good morning," Mirca said.
"Good morning," replied Cara, "where were you?"
"Getting this," Mirca handed the thing over to Cara. It was a piece of paper. She opened it up, and it was a complete map of the country. There was a strange, glowing symbol near the Mystic Forest.
"What's that?" Cara asked, pointing to the symbol with one claw.
"That's were we are," Mirca replied.
"Oh," Cara said. Cara saw where the dragon cities where. "We need to get moving," Cara said, getting up. Her leg felt better this time. There must have been medicine in the stew I didn't detect...
They had been going for a half hour, when Mirca came down from the sky and said," Where near the Dragon cities. Just over the hill and you'll see it." Cara walked up the hill and saw tiny building in the distance.
After a long time, Cara was close to the gate of the Dragon city, Apson.
"What do you need here?" asked Mirca.
"To find," Cara said, sitting down, "my friend, Jissa."
Here is Chapter Three-The Beginning of a Tag Team.
The first thing Cara could feel was that she was on a soft surface. She could hear the crackling of a nearby fire. She was sore. Then she remembered the fight she had with the humans. She opened her eyes and lurched up, looking for trouble. There were trees all around, and dust was coming rapidly. She looked down at her sword sheath and saw her sword was in it. She started to get up on two paws. But suddenly she felt pain in her leg, and she sat down. Then she remembered that she got really hurt. How did this bandage get on my leg? Then she heard wings flapping. She looked up and the sky and saw a orange creature coming toward her. She pulled out her sword and got ready to fight.
The creature finally got to the ground with a bundle on things in it's arms. The creature looked at Cara. Cara examined the creature. It had something like horns on it's face and had big purple eyes. "How are you?" the creature asked.
Cara was shocked to hear the creature talk.
"Fine," Cara replied cautiously.
"Good," the creature said, smiling.
Then they sat there for a while. Then the creature took some things out of the bundle. Then put something over the fire. Then the creature came over and sat by Cara.
"I'm Mirca," the creature said.
"I'm Cara. What are you?" Cara asked.
"A Phomia," Mirca replied.
"What are you doing in these parts?" Cara asked know that Phomias were very rare and had many magical powers. If you could kill one you would have their wings and other useful things. Since the horns where down Cara could tell that Mirca was a female.
"Helping you," Mirca replied.
"How long have I been here?" Cara asked.
"A long time. About a day maybe a day and a half," Mirca said, "What are you doing here?"
"Trying to find the stream that leads to the Dragon cities," Cara said.
After a while Mirca went back to the fire and took something off it. Then she broke something in half and gave Cara the bigger half.
"Here," she said, "eat it. It's a special type of plant."
Should I trust her?
Cara sniffed it then ate it. It tasted bitter, but Cara new it was necessary to eat it.
"What are you doing so far from home," asked Cara knowing that Phomias live up north in the mountains.
"Finding the one that I'm to help," Mirca said.
"How do you know when you find them?" asked Cara.
"I just know," Mirca said.
"Do you know anything about this person?" asked Cara.
"Yes. I know a lot about this person. There name is Cara. She is a pink cat that likes to use a sword, and could be found in a forest looking for a river," replied Mirca.
Cara was shocked.
"What are you suppose to help Cara with?" asked Cara.
"I don't know what I'm helping you with yet," she replied.
Cara was shocked.
"We need to sleep," Mirca said. She flew to the other side of the fire and started to mutter something. The flames of the fire disappeared until all there was embers.
"Good night," Mirca said.
Then Cara fell asleep, curled up like a ball.
Here it is!
Mirca got up. The net was still all over her. There were dead warriors around a clearing. Her senses told her that a battle had taken place only minutes before. Mirca tried to get up but the net stopped her. She looked around. The nearest sword was a foot away. Mirca tried picking up the net and throwing it toward the sword. The net only went a couple of inches. She repeated the process until the sword was in a range where she could pick it up. She took it and started to slice the net. She got free in a couple of minutes. After that she flew to the sky and looked around to see any sign of what to do next. A cat got her attention. It lay in the clearing. Mirca flew down, but not to close. She couldn't take any chances. She flew down until she was a foot away from the cat.
The cat looked like it was used to fighting. It was pink, and had a bow. A sword with a purple hilt was beside the cat. A huge gash was on the cats right hind leg. Mirca looked at the cat to see if it was alive. After a moment she could see the cat was breathing. What should I do? Mirca was really weak after trying not to get captured. She tried to listen for anything that might help her. She heard a near by stream. Mirca immediately started to the stream. I hope somethings there... Eventually she found the stream. Mirca went up to it and stood where the water hit rocks. She went on her knees and started to look at the rocks. They were mostly dull, brown, black, and gray. There was one rock that was red. Mirca picked it up. She flew up to the sky to let the sun see it. The rock had a shiny surface. She went back to the clearing where the cat lay. Mirca was very happy. She put the rock on the ground to where she could reach it and put one hand on the cat. Mirca closed her eyes and started to murmur. Then all of a sudden the rock, Mirca, and the cat disappeared in thin air.
