I've been drawing a lot and having difficulty with anatomy, but it feels like something just clicked and things are making more sense, and my art is looking better. The strong message I got from that, and literally got today, is "never give up". So basically, it's drawing naruto characters 24/7 for me. I'm aiming to get the manga style of drawing down. I have a fair handle on Team 7, but still have to work on the consistency of the characters and how their drawn. Wondering if I should start working with drawing backgrounds now, or just keep focus on the characters for now. Well, that's all for now. Hope to share some artwork with you all soon.
Well, My macbook won't turn on and today I got the diagnostics that I have to replace the RAM. So will do that as soon as I can. On good news...today is officially my last day and I've been drawing a lot. My anatomy still needs work but has gotten better^^. Drawing Naruto characters the most and my own oc's for a doujinshi idea. Aiming to master drawing the body and different shots before I work on putting the full story together. That's all for now. Would post a picture, but my macbook needs to get it's upgrade first. It's a good thing in disguise XD.
So, I'm still practicing drawing as always. I'm copying illustrations of different manga. Naruto illustrations I'm copying in hopes to draw more in his style in effort to learn more about art and manga, and ofc improve upon my skill. Well, I'll keep to it.
Something I'm in the middle of doing.
I thought I share something that I just discovered when I was reading manga with the intent to learn from it. I just realized that it is common for shonen manga to have rivals. It seems to be one of the standards for shonen manga stories. Anyways, I found a 2 part article that speaks about the rivalry aspect within shonen manga. Read if you like.
A WIP of me trying my new coloring technique, but I'm gonna rework this whole picture. I've been and am aiming to be more attentive to anatomy and redrawing characters over and over. ^_^
So, today I basically shopped, which is kinda a rarity for me, but I hung at the mall and bought stuff. Went to Barnes and Noble, ran into a friend or 2, and got some manga (Bleach and Bakuman). Even though I read these before, I like to have manga on hand too and am slowly, but surely, building my manga library. Plus, it supports the authors.
Here's a WIP.
I don't know If I'll add a bg, but am still working on the clothes and will try out a new coloring technique as well.
