Tempest Continues...

Tempest looked at the one called Kiyoshi, now Captain of the 4th squad. Her eyes softened and she gave a small smile.

"Of course... that sounds like an excellent idea, Captain Kiyoshi. Although... I like you as a Lieutenant just fine..." She said, and walked off, leaving Kiyoshi staring at her back once again.

Tempest walked down the corridor that lead to the 11th squad... where she ran into Kenpachi Zaraki.

"Well, if it isn't Lieutenant Tempest Kotone. You know, it'd be an interesting fight between us if you ever accepted my challenge, Kotone." Kenpachi remarked.

Tempest frowned as she turned to face the Captain of squad 11. "Pardon me, Captain Zaraki, but I am rather busy right now." She told him, a serious look on her face.

Kenpachi stared with no expression of surprise on his face. "Yeah, yeah. What a bunch of crap, Kotone. That's just like you... But anyway, why all the formality? Just call me Kenny!" He said, leaning against the wall, blocking Tempest's way.

Before she could say anything, Kiyoshi came running up behind Tempest.

"I'm sorry to bother you again, but I just wanted to know-" He stopped short, seeing the massive size of the squad 11 Captain. "Captain Z-Zaraki Kenpachi?! Excuse me, please forgive me!" Kiyoshi stammered, bowing.

"Listen, punk. Get out of here before I pummel you into oblivion." Kenpachi ordered. The hair on the back of Kiyoshi's neck stood up straight, and he began to walk off, when Tempest grabbed the collar of Kiyoshi's shirt.

"Hold on, there, Captain Kiyoshi. You're a captain, too. Show some authority!" She exclaimed.

"KEEENNNNNNNYYYYYYY!" A voice squealed. "Ah, crap." Kenpachi muttered under his breath. "KENNY! You better not be flirting with Lt. Kotone again!" Yachiru suddenly popped up, climbing up Kenpachi's broad shoulders. "You have to get over your fancy of her and get focused! We've got work to do!" She told him, punching him in the face. "Oh, all right! I get it! Some other time, Kotone." Kenpachi said and the two ran off.

Then Tempest turned to Kiyoshi, who stood there still held by his collar. "Captain Kiyoshi... thank you." She muttered.
