Hello and welcome to my world!
As you've realized, I'm EllaAngel. I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US and am currently a sophmore in High School. I am in desperate need of a job because I am involved in multiple music programs that are not cheap - I play the French horn in a local group besides in my school groups.
I love to read fantasy novels and fanfictions, I enjoy writing, and I've recently found that I like to draw too - not very well, but it is entertaining. I'm working to get access to a scanner so I can post my pictures here, but it might be a little bit.
My favortie animes/mangas are Naruto(#1), Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, and Dramacon. My favorite movies would have to be Meet the Robinsons, Batman: the Dark Knight, and Pride and Predjudiced. Favorite authors/series - I can't pick between the books - Tamora Pierce/Tartall series, David Eddings/Belgariad and Mallorean, and Elizabeth Moon/Deed of Paksenarrion.

It is finally Friday!
Whoot! I think this has been the longest week ever! (Just wait, I'll probably end up saying that again sometime, I'm just reliable like that!) I had standardized testing on Monday and Tuesday so that threw off the schedule for the entire week! See, I usually have all six classes on Mon, and Fri, and then only four, longer classes on Wed, Thur, and Tues (whoops, out of order). This is really nice so you don't have to do all the homework for the next day, but this week I had three six-period days in a row! Everyday I was convinced it was friday, but then when I got home and realized I still had to be productive I was all bummed out. Then today when it was actually Friday I was all tired and it felt more like a Monday. I am glad this week is over.
I guess I am just full of rants today, I'll spare you from the rest of them though.

Its been a while...
...Since I could, hold my head up high...
Sorry, random song in head. That is all I know of the song, but every time I think of it I think of the show House, but I don't even watch the show so I have no idea what the connection is. I only know it is about a crazy, angry, and crippled doctor that does a ton of illegal things in the hospital but saves lots of people...odd perspective I know. I'm sorry if I insulted anyone with my lacking and twisted knowledge.
So this originally was just going to be a short post since I hadn't written for a bit, but now it is just a little random rant corner. Course now I don't really know what I was going to originally say or even what to rant about now.
Um...topic, so I'm taking the state-standerdized-test-thing right now (the WASL) and it is extremly retarded. I don't even have to pass the thing but I'm still required to take it. All it is accomplishing is wasting time, and since no one takes it seriously since we don't have to pass it no one will get a good score on it and then that will reflect negatively on the school and we will lose money because somehow taking away funding will help fix test scores even though that money will only end up being taken away from electives and not the subjects being tested. 
Breathe, its going to be okay.
Alright, since I've bored you enough with that I probably should go to bed now.

Back in school
Waz up peeps?!
So here I am back in school, huzzah. Thankfully my teachers are pretty cool and haven't piled us with homework to 'make up for time'. I actually have some pretty cool things going on. In my world history class we are going to do a couple trials on world events and determine the verdicts ourselves. We are also starting mini-projects to do in like a night so we can present the next day. Its really for the presenting so we can all get practice, but I like to do that kind of thing, so I'm going to like it!
In my last post I asked if people wanted to read the poems I'd written and only Poochy commented so I'm going to put up one for her. This is my favorite one I've written - I wrote it two years back I think, but it still applies. I do warn that I am not a terrific poem writer and I do not rhyme.
Anger
The fire burning higher explodes in my face;
The rage once contained now flows unchecked.
The violence, the hate, the anger;
Leave a vile taste in my mouth.
A storm rages on the once calm sea,
With no regard to who or what is hurt.
Boats dashed against the rocks,
Men, woman, children, drowned in the thrashing waves.
The words, the actions;
Each happening without thought;
The cutting words, the errant slap;
Once delivered can never be taken back.
But anger is a double-edged sword –
Both wielder and receiver cut deep.
Each blow given is returned ten-fold;
Those words spoken in hate come back in guilt.
The waters are still, the fire put out,
With only the wreckage and burns as a reminder.
The rain comes now, pouring from the sky;
Sorrow and guilt overflow with remorse.

Spring Planting!
Waz up, peeps!
Today was a beautiful day in the neighborhood and I was able to start my garden! I have green beans, yellow beans, peas, red potatoes, and white potatoes planted and later I am going to plant my lettuce, carrots, onions, and tomatoes. I have a HUGE garden space in my back yard that is pretty much mine since no one else in the family really gardens. I love it!
Unfortunately this marks the end of my spring break and I'm going to have to go back to school on Monday - real excited about that. Whoop-de-doo.
Ah well, such is life. Oh, I almost forgot. I'm really sorry that I haven't gotten my work up - I didn't have the chance to access a scanner like I had planned so, I'm still held up with my drawings. I'm working on another day I can get to one, but I am unsure of when that will be.
So before I go I have a question for all of ya'lls - I have some poems I wrote a while back that I haven't let many people read cause I wasn't sure what they would think, and I was wondering if you guys (and gals) would like to read them and give feed-back. Its no big deal if you don't, but I just thought some people might be interested.

Hello for the first time!
So I just figured out the introduction setting/thing, so everything that was in this box is now in my intro.
But here I am, on my spring break with no homework! Whoot, whoot!! I am pretty sure this is the first time that has ever happened to me. 
So I attempted to scan in my drawings yesterday, but when I pulled them up I realized that just because it looks good on paper, doesn't mean it will show up on the computer. I need to go back through and fix my pics so the colors and outlines will show up. Most likely I will have them up on Thursday. Cross your fingers!
Well, that is me right now. I think I'm going to go eat breakfast now....
